On the home page, the icon shows it is in solar charger mode. You’ve managed to change modes. I’m not 100% but I think if you power it down, hold down the top two buttons and power it back up, I believe you can reconfigure it back to wind turbine mode. I think also, you can change between 24v and 48 v.

It seems a defective unit since you acquire it. Try change factory operating voltage/mode, you can do this pressing two buttons while switch on. Is a hidden menu.

Just had a closer look at your video it has changed mode you have to reset the mode to the correct type see the video link jmsola1 posted. Or I show how to do it in one of my videos.

I think the display goes into sleep mode just press a botton and it comes back on.

If you're running this thing in the hot place that's the first problem it doesn't not have attic fans as I heard from somebody else if they improved it it barely starts to load under reasonable temperatures and starts to use the fan

Well now you've done it. lol I fried my 46 pound Aims inverter charger about the 17th of August last year. It had a laptop almost charged on it. The fan didn't come on and it had been really hot that day. Anyways there was the burnt electronics smell when I came in. The control board went out so I had to change it and the power board...ain't doin that again...cost me $550...so, I bought a 120 mm fan for $10 and if the box is warm or I'm going to be using a lot of juice I leave that extra fan on...uses 5 watts @ 12 v. DC. It's called cheap insurance, and you should have had it on that box. There wasn't anything that I could tell wrong with the temp sensor, but I changed it anyways. Find whatever burnt out, replace it if you can, and add a $10 fan to blow on that area...you can put a temp sensor if you don't want it on all the time. It will be a whole lot easier than learning a foreign language to get a couple parts. My inverter can be grid tied but just for charging. I can use a gas generator though. March of 2021 was the last time I used the charging mode. I found out something curious about Aims Power. The circuit boards that you buy after the warranty are better than the originals. Very well made and they are sprayed with marine coating. The one flaw this inverter had is the fan wouldn't come on soon enough under a light load. Curiously, that works now. Occasionally the fan will come on with just the freezer on it. But if it was hot enough outside and the fan didn't come on it could be damaged. So I figured out the fan as a way to prevent that. Some of this Chinese engineered stuff is all right, but the cooling methods are a little iffy . They wait until it's hot to turn the fan on. I wonder if they did it to sell parts? Maybe the little menu thing is meant to entertain you when the box fails.

So it says input voltage is too high but it isn't. That might have been it's last message before it died. At some point maybe the input voltage was actually too high and cooked it. I have not yet seen a GTI that can tolerate overvoltage. Also the weather being very hot doesn't do semiconductors any good.

Did you ever manage to get it working properly in the first place or is it always been a bit temperamental? I was thinking about eventually buying one myself

The configuration screen you brought up is the one you see on solar versions of the unit, so my guess is the little battery on the board housing the screen has gone dead. As for changing the configuration to match what is printed on the side, see this video about changing the profile. The important bit is around the 2 minute mark.

Might recommend you just get your money back from the supplier because it doesn't come with nearly enough documentation

Seams the firmware is changed. Even the name of the firmware on the screen says 10-30v.

I have the circuit diagram for the fans and associated components. I can help you fix it the dual fan transistor needs upgrading. also I would not connect to the negative via the terminals. I go direct the internal negative terminal.

This looks like the same brand I had that was destroyed by a Spike from My crappy capitalist power company when it turned back on
