There is a story behind the song. According to legend, in 1340, a student at Queen's College in Oxford, England was walking though a wood on the way to his dorm when he was suddenly attacked by a wild boar. The only thing he had to defend himself was a large textbook, which he promptly rammed down the boar's throat, killing it instantly. To celebrate, the other students threw a feast of roasted pork that night and the head was placed on a silver platter and ceremoniously paraded through the banquet hall.
