China's incremental and methodical expansion in the South China Sea, likened to a "boiling frog strategy," involves gradually increasing aggression to extend its influence without provoking significant international backlash. Over the past three decades, China's strategy has evolved through four phases: framing the disputes by delaying resolution and enhancing naval presence; employing the "Three Warfares" strategy to shape public opinion, influence foreign policies, and use legal means to assert its claims; moving towards more overt actions such as constructing artificial islands and military installations; and, finally, consolidating these gains through military modernization and economic leverage. This approach has led to increased hostility, particularly towards the Philippines, prompting Manila to strengthen its defense cooperation with the United States and other allies. As tensions rise, regional actors are becoming more proactive in countering China's influence, underscoring the urgent need for strategic alliances and defense cooperation to maintain stability and prevent the metaphorical frog from being boiled alive. Malaysia have no interest in South China seas... the ownership of islets, reefs and small islands have mostly been settled decades ago - its the US that is looking for trouble here to save its own economy!!

@@catinbootsnow4267 they did not just stayed😅. they suffer lost after lost. they cannot expand to eastern side because japan is too powerful. they also cannot expand to southern side because they are not known for having powerful navy like european empires so they decided to expand west but suffered multiple defeats😅. they have large scale invasion to vietnam more than 7 times but defeated, also large scale invasion to burma (myanmar) and defeated aswell.

@@rm669😂蒙古之所以能发展起来必须感谢我们当时的内战,不是我们过多的内战,分裂,我们早都统一亚洲了,事实就是古代我们地盘太大了,以至于我们更多的在思考如果统一稳定自己的疆域

Don't worry. Indonesian government do aware with this strategy. That's why indonesian government recently boosting their arm purchase spending, acquiring new military technology and strengthening natuna military base and all military bases in indonesia Indonesian government even recreating their coast guard. The new coast guard will have bigger punching power tonforce chinese coast guard to step away from indonesian waters

Indonesian water is only 5% of South China seas. Even Malaysia has more: Indonesia arms purchased is NOT against China, but to renew old military assets.

In a recent Pew survey released 2 days ago, Singaporeans and Malaysians are markedly more confident with Xi Jinping than with Biden. Thais have pretty equal confident with both and Filipinos are more confident with Biden. Only 4 ASEAN countries are in the survey. But I guess if surveys were done in Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, the result will be just like for Singapore and Malaysia.

Malaysia always hiding behind Philppines back, PH always getting the first punch from Superpowers to Supertyphoons of the Pacific. You’re so indebted to us, you should give back Sabah to PH. Sultan of Sulu just won in French arbitration ordering Malaysia to pay 15 Billion dollars to Sulu Heirs.

America playing du*mb by fighting on an overly expensive wasteful Naval warfare with an expectation of a lesser outcome, but lots of waste. A piece of advice, if you’re really serious fighting a Superpower like China, Id work with North Korea to regain Machuria State, Id work with Mongolia or Russia to regain Inner Mongolia, Id work with Afghanistan to regain Turkic Xinjiang, Id work with India to Free Dalai Lama’s Tibet, and Id work with Laos & Vietnam to Free Yunnan Dali. All these territories were acquired & inherited from violence of expansionist Mongolian Emperor Genghist Khan regime. Im not gonna even start & talk about Southern territories. As opposing power, can you even do it. If not, you both Superpowers are just a Joker on Stage, doing bloody comedy!
