Agree. The education systems in many countries need revision so that these people are not lost. The other thing wrong with many education systems is the assumption that all children develop their learning at the same pace. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have seen kids who failed a year at school, just because their minds weren't ready at the time, who were given a second chance and turned out to be brilliant students.

What I find more disturbing in the year 2020 is what Google says: How many girls don't go to school? According to UNESCO, there are an estimated 130 MILLION girls between the ages of 6 and 17 out of school. 15 million primary school-aged girls will likely never enter a classroom in their lifetime. (And they will raise more children.)

Imagine using 1/1687.5th of a second using in their time system and basic unit of time called lipa which is 0.4 seconds to the calculations older than the age of this universe. @@jawad9757 i think he was saying that you can derive an equation independent of an actual application. Ramanujan derived equations that were later used for black holes without him knowing black holes existed. It's like how Lorentz transformations were derived by someone, but the tranformations had no use until Einstein figured out a use and began applying them.

There is one video in Tibees channel where she gives various professors and Computer Scientists to analyse the Indian JEE ADVANCED exam. In this video one of the professor mentioned about the Cambridge Mathematical tripos and referred to a letter wrote by G.Hardy where G.Hardy criticised the tripos. Its a good read :)

Just like how, on math forums(like stackexchange, mathexchange, etc.) one should write WRONG answers along with the questions he wants to ask, so that more and more people answer his question in order to correct him.

@Peter Mortensen I'll explain what I said with an example- let's a you want to want get a answer for this question- "what is the sum of first n natural numbers?", you dont know the answer but you know that the answer definitely isn't say 2n, so now you can either ask you question like this-" isn't 2n the sum of first n natural numbers, if not, then what is?" Or simple directly as the original question and use another account to answer yourself wrongly, that way, others will jump in on an opportunity to correct someone else and feel superior..... And this actually works better than just asking the question normally
