the Celtics are such a weird team - they're the best team in the league, not because they consistently play the best in the league, but because they alternate between playing like a 9th seed and the best team of all time 😂 at the start of the game on that 16-0 run I was thinking "literally nobody can beat this team" and then they just... stopped playing like that

im a pacers fan and while i feel as if the officiating was very biased tonight we 100% lost because of the turnovers in crunchtime. i still like where we stand tho because we showed everyone we deserve to be here and we can hang with them

I think there were probably a couple fouls they could have called for y’all that they didn’t, but it goes both ways, and the volume of potential fouls drawn was heavily skewed towards boston. Maybe it’s a bit of reputation, but there weren’t a lot of bad calls, just a couple questionable no-calls. Mostly a factor of the style of offense and defense the teams play. You’re right, the Pacers gave the game away, but if they can keep playing the way they played tonight, they’re going to have several more chances to execute down the stretch. Such a fun team to watch, even when they’re beating up on my celtics😅

There’s a free throw disparity because Pacers can’t play defense. They always foul. They had the #24 ranked defensive rating this season.

@@LASAGNA_LARRY L take. Pacers got fouls because most teams drive to get buckets. Brown and Tatum are skilled at drawing fouls. Also, there is a clear disparity on the foul calls when it comes to the Pacers. Opposing teams just get the benefit of the doubt.

@@HomellAlcautor difference is the Celtics haven’t looked good against bad competition in these playoffs, they played 2 close games against a Cavs team that was missing Mitchell, Allen & LeVert & that’s not to mention their losses or tonight’s miracle win. Plus the matchup without a healthy Porzingis is really bad, Edwards can lock up Brown & the twin towers will dominate the glass & post all series long. If the Celtics compete it’ll be due to Porzingis or because they step up their game against better competition which is possible cause teams can play down to weak completion. What I’m sayin is this team that I’ve watched all playoffs long does not look very good & if the team I saw tonight or the team I saw in games 4-5 against the Cavs comes out against the Wolves it’ll get ugly

I get it everyone wants to act like FT's didn't matter but when the % & stats are basically the same (Pacers higher) and the team with 20 more FT's wins in OT by 5 pts that is a factor...again not the only factor but definitely a factor. Celtics 47/99 FG, 47.5% 15/45 3`s, 33% 30 FTA vs Pacers 53/99 FG, 53.5% 13/35 3`s, 37% 10 FTA Celtics 133 vs 128 Pacers

People calling out the FT's please watch the game. The Pacers play this really soft, fast pace offense. They don't draw a lot of contact and in the playoffs, they let em play.

I feel like places like ESPN and CBS and others don't understand that during the playoffs, we wanna hear the crowd more than the commentators... Sure I still wanna hear the commentators because Mike Breen's bang goes hard.... A top play/time during this playoffs was Cavs vs Magic game 1, we heard no commentating and just the crowd, it sounded amazing.

From the FT differential AND Pacers choking... crazy. Siakam getting the ball poked away and touching it to make it out on them. T.J taking that poor layup. Hali dribbling the ball out of bounds. But the fact that Indiana CAME BACK in the game like three times and almost won despite most of the roster playing great on Boston is worth noting. Still choked though. Then Brown hitting the clutch three. And Tatum hitting two big shots OT... but hey, Pacers showing y'all they're competitive.

To be fair i think based off the Cavs series they seem to be ok with letting AL defend those one on ones because typically he’s going to give you good defense. If you cook him just cook him and let’s stay home on everyone else but this game it didn’t work as well obviously lol

Fr, good for the Pacers. They fought the ENTIRE GAME. Haliburton has really of this franchise on the map this year and I hope they continue to build this roster.

If the Celtics can add some true depth we could be championship contenders every year, early in the game the pacers bench had 10 and the Celtics didn’t have a single bench point, I swear the Celtics just need some depth
