I still think Fahkumrahm is pretty cool looking and has an intimidating aura I personally think he’s looks the most like a Tekken 8 character in Tekken 7. On a Side note really surprised not to see Lidia yet, just because how they initially set her up to play a part in the future of the franchise

I think a thing bout fahk that helps make him stand out that you didnt mention, is that he has by far the most amount of bracket inputs, theyre pretty easy, but it gives him a unique feel when playing him for sure

I wish a video about Lidia. Her stances mix-ups are very good and her movement is good too. Her neutral is kinda meh and her lows too, but mids and highs are... at least "impressive".

About Fahk's Design I also wish they didnt make him this ripped. They probably design him that way so he would be a counterpart to Marduk.

Listen, I've played Fahk since he came out (because Bruce wasn't in T7) and he is horrible now, he is without doubt one of the worse characters in T7. The only people who have trouble with him are those not familiar with the matchup; All of his good lows are -15 or worse meaning launch punishable save for his universal duck 4 and his standing 3 which are his two least damaging lows and are -12 or -13 so they are still punishable when blocked by most of the cast; All of his extensions from his teep (his 3 kick) are from -13 to -15 and the low extension is -16 or -17; His hell sweep is -18 or -20; His big launcher ff 1+2 is -15 or -16; His other launcher df 2, 3 is -14 or -15 does not jail and has a duckable high at the end; His B 2, 3 is a high low and is -15 or -16; ALL of his charge moves can be stepped on reaction; His B 1 is -15 or -16; His 3+4 is -9 or -10 but you lose your turn; His F 1+2 is -13 or -14 but the start up is abysmal, you used to be able to get B 1 and then F 1+2, but now you cannot due to the slow start up; Also as justdante said there are many, many, MANY moves that go UNDER his key mids (his teep 3 kick in particular can be ducked under by half the cast with certain moves), it's absurd! Trust me, Fahk is terrible now. He has very few if any safe moves and any pressure tools he once had have been completely neutered.

This is probably because my first Tekken game was 7, but although Bruce is cool in his own right. I just like Fahkumram better as a character. The character's move list and design just stand out so well compared to the roster. He may not be a Leroy, Geese, or Negan but he is so cool as a concept along with his stage. I get why people didn't like him. Replaces Bruce and Broken af, but the potential backstory he got could be very cool for Tekken 8, he just needs a redesign (Visually), and to be re-tuned to not be as All-Round as he was at launch while also making sure they don't heavily gut the character's viability.

I still think he needs 3+4 safe again. They might remove the ch property to make it different but he needs that chunky safe mid with some range to make his playstyle really work. Also he needs db4 as it was, that move was perfectly balance since the beginning. With those 2 chances he is a healthy mid tier

Imagine if Tekken 7 Patch 5 Fahkumram had his move list and gameplay identity brought back for Tekken 8, but it's instead applied to another Thai fighter modeled after Tony Jaa. That would be beautiful

Sorry but the hypocrisy is real here, if Kazuya was bottom tier you'd lose your mind but because its not your main you say its 'identity'. Yes kazuya gets blown up if you know the match up but he at least has utility and safety and electrics which will always prevent him from being at the bottom of the barrel. Fahk was stripped of everything and in an heavily online focused game with characters like geese or akuma or jin its just not fair. Taking away a muay thai fighters magic 4 is bullshit. Strong kicks are his defining trait. Making 3+4 unsafe was utter nonsense. If someone that size kicks you there should be consequences and the original 3+4 was perfect. Db 4 getting nerfed was also nonsense. Muay thai fighters have strong shin kicks. It should've remained as it was including the frame trap of b3 if someone pressed after being hit buy it. He's a huge character whos completely pillow fisted now. As long as you do death combos with geese and marduk and perfect electrics into death combos with kazuya you don't get to talk about fahkumrams 'identity'. There is no reason to play him anymore. Yes the state he was introduced in was OP but at patch 4.10 he was perfectly balanced. He had flaws. You paid with your life if you were predictable but he had online fair utility. Now the ONLY thing he kinda does well in is combo damage and its still somewhat pathetic since they nerfed his rage drive into the ground. If knee as well as mkwan7 and kwiss have come out and said he's bottom tier and ruined maybe just maybe they have a point. Your ego will never let you admit that though will it. Remember that video you made about heihachi in tekken 6 and how he was so bad you didn't want to play him. Calling him impotent and weak but because its not a mishima its fine..............

TMM is the main person downplaying Fahk, who is sleeping? Odd how some forced 50-50s are celebrated as unique while others make characters “braindead” 😂…. Call it what it is. TMM likes Fahk because he oozes testosterone. Same with Kaz, Geese, Marduk, Bryan, etc…. Was a shock to see TMM have a Noctis phase

I love this man and his animations. But he is so basic that I can't play him more than 1 hour because I'm getting bored. I feel like you can play him with just 10 moves. I hope they improve his gameplan in Tekken 8.

Fahk is muy thai. Dont talk to me about low tiers until you play Lars and Yoshi, Gigas or Jack. You play an 8ft tall giant who literally makes Lars combos nonexistent. Same issue with Kuma/Panda. Look at Yoshi. A lot of low tier characters need the craziest setups and come backs to win consistently. The only reason ive even gotten to purple rank is cuz people just dont know Lars matchups because people hardly play against him, and they panic easily in the worst ways. Do you know how many optimal moves and panic options Fahk has? Now look at other low tiers. Its the same with like games like League of Legends. You take new characters vs old, the old characters are still beneath because of how the DLC characters are fundamentally different, all of the DLC characters of Tekken require you to play a minigame, theyre different than every other character because they have so many gimmicks that are hard to punish if youre playing beneath them. Even when you neuter the new characters theyre still so fundamentally fresh that theyre innate nature is more optimal. This is just an appreciation thread wanting stupid busted DLC characters back. But thats ok. Id rather have had lars actually buffed than nerf these goons. If Lars played like T6 Lars itd literally be equal to these clowns. With Fahk, you arent constantly trudging thru a snowy frozen sludge pond like grinding your teeth on a stonewheel. Fahk at least can be more viable. So no. Lowest is right in the middle. Besides. Most tiers are inconsistent with literal "tiers".

I disagree. The guard break needs to go away. This is such an example of a character on steroids, gameplay wise. Leroy is now normal but this "thing", its limb length, strings and mixups are so obnoxious still. I'm still mad at bamco for putting out this "thing".

Yes, Fahkumram is the worst character in the game totally agree 100% i hope and i wish that they will do a great job on him for t8, a rework, perhaps in terms of gameplay, design, moveset, personality, i love him.. the character has good potential and deserves it.

Every character in this game kills you if the guy behind them makes a couple of perfect reads.... Let's see a couple Claudio Super Man punch? Puts you in disadvantage if you block, but he "dies" when you duck and punish him. Jin 24, df14, electric, 124, bf21 are moves that lets you "kill" him if you get the perfect read. Duck and whiff punish Heihachi ff2 usually tracks, but if you get a perfect read and you sidewalk to the right instead of the left. His recovery is "forever" so go kill him. Bryan. People normally discourages you from sidestepping him because his moves have good tracking and have wide radiuses. But if you get a "perfect read" you can sidestep his b1 to the left and "kill" him. Noctis' b2 into chidori is considered to be one of his best moves, but if you get the "perfect read" you can sidestep it in any direction and "kill" him. Feng's split kick? Perfectly read him! Kill him! Block into ws punish! This argument where a character is more "interesting" because he can die if he's perfectly read is stupid. "Identity" itself is overrated and I don't think people really understand what that means nowadays.
