It's sourced whiskey right? Was it aged or anything at Prideful Goat?

@@apeekintime Not the 15 year. Our 15 year was the same liquid that Old Soul, Doc Swinson's, Hickory Hill, Etc. released. The whiskey was sold in 330 gallon totes and not in barrels, so additional aging was not possible. The distillery didn't want their barrels in other people's warehouses, so they had everyone sign a NDA and sold the whiskey in containers that would provide no information about which distillery made it. All the other offerings of TPG are all aged in Texas for at least a year, which gives us a bit more barrel character than similar offerings because of our extreme temperature changes. The good news is the humidity is high in Houston where the distillery is, so we do not lose as much liquid as others that have big temperature swings in lower humidity areas.

I believe that was the mystery mash bill toted 15 year that was popping up all over the place as Backbone Old Bones, Doc Swinson, Three Chord Whiskey Drummer and others. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong because that is what batch and and batch 2 were.

The 🐐 ! Love Prideful Goat and it appears you do too after this review and the 6-year rye. About 1/2 way through B4 of PG15 and it’ll be a sad day when it’s gone bc my understanding is the stock is gone. Great stuff, cheers!
