Beautiful and touching song. Michael Callen and the Flirtations had a great version I would love to find again.

Love the Flirtations! Got to see them perform a few times. Michael Callen is actually one of the writers of This song.

It on KZfaq . He is singing it at the 1993 March on Washington. Seeing him do it is my number one KZfaq tearjerker. He died that same year. I used to hear him sing iit st the beginning of every AIDSWALK in the mid to late eighties. It is also in an album by his group The Flirtations called Purple Heart.
