I’m not surprised it got a lot of 1 star reviews. Everyone is so use to regular superhero shows like marvel and DC that when they saw something new they hated it. It is a pretty tough show to watch because there is a lot of violence and nudity. However Homelander carried the show

It’s not like there are trailers, plot synopsis, ratings, or any other multitude of information readily available for an adult with a modicum of any intellectual prowess to look up to make sure it’s appropriate for children.
