I live in Dubai. I see it every day. I've taken it for granted but after seeing this video, I'm as amazed as I was the first time I saw it. It is a truly magnificent structure that everyone must see.

I work there in the Burj! :) and still always nice to see the building from the bottom and the city from top.

I wonder if they could have used The Golden Angle (137.5... degrees). That way it wouldn't look like a bunch of arbitrary balconies, yet it still could confuse the wind. The Golden Angle could also maximize light for the balconies.
