That's the thing. She's so damn talented but she ruined her reputation with her horrible behavior, throughout literally the entirety of her career, going even as far as ragtime. Why do you thinks he hasn't worked in Broadway in so long? She could've easily landed a leading role again but not a lot of people are willing to work with her anymore. I don't know how old you are or how long you have been around Broadway but I promise you she has always been known for treating people like shit. Always. I don't think she's a monster, I'm sure she loves her family, friends, but she also has to respect the people that she works with and she's shown time and time again that she doesn't. She could've been winning one award after another, she has the skills, but it's her own fault that she isn't.

I brought up Ragtime because it's not often that you hear about people treating others badly literally throughout their entire career. Every single project. Every single one. You're telling me to grow up? Why didn't she? I understand that you're a fan and that it's upsetting to know that someone you admire might not be the best person but that's just life. I still listen to her music, I am a fan of her talent, but I can't condone her behavior. I promise you I've been around Broadway community for a very long time and I have reasons to believe none of the people who have spoken up were lying. Do you think they were all working together against her or something? People from all parts of the entertainment industry, people who have worked with her at various points of her life, people of different status, people who are not known in the slightest for being difficult or disrespectful, people who have nothing to gain from talking about their experience? Like I said, I don't think she's a monster, not at all. But she did hurt a lot of people and unfortunately hurt her career as a result. That is a fact. I can only hope she learned from what happened last year and starts treating people better.

@@lcvedisease Didn't you just say all celebs have bad reputations? Going by that logic you are a fan of people who behave badly as well. Do you think half the world enjoyed finding out the truth about Michael Jackson? A legendary performer. Or JK Rowling? It's difficult to stop enjoying somebody's art after finding out they've done bad things. But we can't put artists on a pedastal. We can't excuse everything they do just because we happen to like their work. They need to take responsibility for their actions, just like everybody else in this world. And yeah, a person can appreciate somebody's art while acknowledging the mistakes they have made. I wish Lea never did the things she'd done but she had. So yes, I regret that a person with a voice like hers let herself get blacklisted because I would've loved to hear her in more shows. But I do believe she can redeem herself. Will she? We shall see. Going by her non-apology last year, she's not there yet. And I keep replying because I find the flawless angel who can do no wrong culture on social media these days very disturbing and plain immature. That's not how real life works. I can only hope you never have coworkers who treat you the way lea treats hers. No one deserves that, no one is above anybody else.

It's kind of funny to me the media coverage this is getting just because her character in Glee was cast in a fictional revival... After the last few years there is no way in hell she would have got it but even if those things didn't come to light and she was cast in the revival (which I would have LOVED), it would also be a little tacky lol. I do expect that she has matured and is learning from the consequences of her behavior and hope to see her back on Broadway some day.

And the behind the scenes book that I bought has so much work that Lea did for Wendla, and she’s a very smart actress. She’s got good instincts. Did you meet her after a gig? I know a lot of people that had bad experiences with her too. I love her talent, and I also don’t think anyone is beyond redemption. I believe that she will be back soon, and will be a changed person. At least I hope so. Could you share your experience with Lea?
