Shaco main for 11 years here, if both on screen, look at the mana bar as many has pointed out. With enough experience you can also tell from how they control the character but that takes a lot of experience. If only 1 on screen, common things shaco players do would include Q in then R, you can tell this one from the animation, R first, walk clone backward then Q forward, you can also tell this one from the animation, R, then Q out, (usually used for escaping) you can also tell this from the animation. in the end, it's all on the animation. Shaco stealth has an animation when it ends, so you can tell if it's the stealth fading. His stealth won't interrupt unless you use items, abilities, or recall. (Shaco can use summoner spells while inv) So if a shaco pops out of nowhere NOT MID-ANIMATION, then it's a clone. even if they command the shaco clone to auto the enemy champ as soon as it pops out of nowhere, there's always a delay with the clone. So again, in the end, it's all in the animations.

And if u dont have time to look over stats or for exemple this taunt strat, you can get damaged by or hit one of them, by getting damaged its harder to tell if he goes hybrid build, but the clone is always quite squishier than the shaco himself, thats why people tend to hit the copy that is close to them to make sure its not the original

Ideally you’d want to recognize the clone before having taunted it, I feel like. At least if you’re looking for status effect animations as a Shen, it’s probably too late. Although it’s still a neat differentiation and maybe could be useful to the rest of the teammates.

They patched the mythic bug, a good shaco will deselect the target when out of vision, the rest is true :)

I assume it's cause his team had no tank/frontline, and more damage would've been unnecessary.

Also enemy team has no tank, there's minimal benefit from having hybrid damage.

The shooting range *is* 150 units larger than the range at which the box will activate, and the fear range is also greater than the box activation range, but I don't think the fear range is larger than the attack range. If the fear range were shorter than the shooting range, then you'd expect to sometimes be feared and not shot, and I can't recall *ever* seeing a Shaco box fear somebody without then shooting them at least once.

Clone always appears on the opposite side of the cursor. If I drag my cursor to the top, my clone spawns on the bottom side.

Shaco only roamed once and he was still able to ult and matched CS, without bamis or hydra. So it seems like it did not matter here. He even comments on it when he decides not to buy bamis.
