He is like the third person who I have seen that doesn’t understand what a non-triggered lucky hits are. It’s obvious to me but apparently people think luck is a trigger for lucky hits.

Non-trigger lucky hits are just normal luck hits. You can trigger a licky hit to make it a triggered luck hit but normal lucky hits are non-trigered.

@@n0etic_f0x ive found tiny rogues to be pretty specific in its language. so calling out non triggered lucky hits should be a clue. also there are items that specifically call out triggering a lucky hit when some criteria happens so one could surmise what non triggered means with that context. I do play alot of board games and card games and love rules so maybe im better at understanding things like this.

Tyler getting a passive that says "On the TALLY of 6 melee attacks..." and then saying "this also triggers on dash effects, activating Rythm which reduces TALLY requirements by 2, which I still don't know what that means" is such a Tyler moment.

Broken Hero Sword is worth revisiting; there's multiple different versions of it depending on what metals you find to turn it legendary, and they all got triple S scaling and some nuclear special attack

@OlexaYT that, is entirely fair. The lightning super sword you got is arguably? The strongest of the batch but they're not that far from how much murder they pack, and even with needing to get so much gold for all its upgrades, they're monstrously powerful

I love that the entire sword arc was just a terraria reference ❤ This game has a lot of stuff inspired from terraria now that I think about it, so cool to see

If any other content creator ran around with 1.5 out of 2 companion weight, or didn’t check out the periodical tick rate increases with the weapon that had a super special effect of a periodical effect, or any of 50 other things, I’d be internally screeching, but with Tyler I’m just vibing in the chaos and confusion at this point

Hero sword is the new broken item now that scarf is officially nerfed. Every run gets a game ending legendary weapon. Just had a warrior run the killed amon before he could attack.

rerolled the royal armory, the rarest room in the game. I always peep it, even if I've already got a crazy weapon, its the highest dopamine you can get in the game.

Non-triggered hits are everything except for the stuff that specifically says the attack is triggered. If it doesn’t say the word “trigger”, it’s a non-triggered hit. You had 50% lucky hit chance, so 50% of your attacks were non-triggered lucky hits.

⁠@@hedyhopes3591 Let me give an example. At 6:13, the trait “Manaforged Bolts” appears. Looking at the description, you can see the word “trigger.” This means that the projectiles it shoots out count as a triggered attack. Right below it is the trait “Apocalypse.” Even though it looks like a triggered attack, it does not say the word “trigger” anywhere in the description, so it doesn’t count as a triggered attack. This is the only thing that matters when determining if something will count as a triggered attack. If it says the word “trigger,” it’s a triggered attack. Otherwise, it is not.

tally requirement.. the on 6 attacks do this.. the 6 is the trigger effect, so that makes it so every 4 attacks you trigger :D

Most lucky hits (like all the lucky hit chance you had in this video) are non-triggered. This is specified because some weapons have thing like "trigger a lucky hit on crit" and it that case it would it would not trigger the traits or items that specify "non-triggered".

The mana accessory is op for melee unless u can get the arcane enchantment or perk for melee, mana stars will break your game even on a strength run if u can build it right cause its just pure scaling boost

Taking a sip of ichor after killing the boss just skips the cutscene after you sit on the throne to unlock the abyss you don’t need to do it anymore

The frost hero sword is a bit better in my honest opinion. Poison and fire not as much and excalibur is awesome(not a hero sword but had to tell you)!!!

Don’t feel obligated to use black dice only use them if you have e a trait that is literally doing nothing you threw away +25% more damage and 25% of your attack speed. Also why would you try and get rid of your crit hit multiplier with 50% lucky hit chance

Wow yeah okay I have been in the understanding that if you get a lucky hit, it rolls twice for crit and if one of those two rolls is a crit, then it does the damage of my crit multiplier

bro when you're sitting there choosing your 4th trait talking about how you dont understand what tally effects are, then picks a tally effect. ????? also yeah shock aura doesnt do damage, it inflicts shock which like increases your lightning damage on them, its garbage basically. fire and poison aura are way too strong. if you want to just win the game, basically you play mages, and get the traits for double intelligence but str/dex do nothing, an aura, and the additional aura size based on int that you turned down on trait 4 in this video. if you get those 3 traits the aura covers the whole room and you just have to survive for like 10 seconds or so and the fight ends. its pretty easy to force if you just prioritize dice for trait rerolls also the starting item where you gain a soul heart from drinking a flask, just turn all your souls into soul hearts, walking into floor 10 boss fight with 20 hearts is messed up. I actually wish the game was less cheese-able, its way too free, got bored with it in like 10-20 hours

They nerfed the soul scarf so you can’t do that anymore. And you’re right, if I wanted to win I’d just do auras every time but that’s extremely boring so why would I play like that? Seems you got a lot of value out of a $10 game, 10-20 hours is great.
