THE BRUCE PENINSULA IN WINTER!

If you've been waiting for the perfect summer day to visit Tobermory and Lion's Head, wait no more! My boyfriend just arrived to Canada from France and before Ontario shutdown we sneaked a trip up north to hike some trails in the Bruce Peninsula. It was cold - but it was beautiful and SO worth it! This winter is the winter to GET OUTSIDE and move your body in safe ways, away from other people, and Tobermory and Lion's Head totally check all those boxes. How amazing that we can see beautiful turquoise waters without booking a flight to the Caribbean!?
Staying home is always the safest option. If you are in an area that is currently shutdown, this video is not a recommendation to travel, but please stay safe, get some fresh air and exercise and keep on exploring, even if it's just from your couch ;) Thanks for watching!!

where did you spend the night at ? who was opened ?

The Bear Tracks Inn in Lion’s Head was open at the time. I’m not sure what the options are right now.

Hi loved the video I am planning to head up when lockdown ends, do you need winter tires or will all seasons suffice

I would say winter tires would definitely be a good idea!

Not a challenging drive at all, just take it easy in the snow as always :)

The trail in Tobermory was paid parking, about $20 and I believe it would be closed right now during the lockdown. The Lions Head trails were free parking!
