I love my 2008 Spec B, 6 speed, R180 diff, aluminum control arms front and rear, OEM Bilstien struts, navigation, doesn't get better. An executive STI.

you're buddy was smart with this buy. after looking into it you can find 09s of this car with "low" milage for MUCH cheaper than OLDER wrx/sti with MORE miles

I own an automatic one, straight stock. Couldn’t be happier with it so far and still gets a good sound when you floor it. Intend on modifications in layer years but i would recommend it for first car subie lovers

Legacy has my vote nice video, your opening sequences look awesome. I'm glad Subaru have gone back to the saloon shape with the new WRX, still looks a bit weird but hopefully a few face changes will sort that. Shame about the Evo though come on Mitsubishi sort it out!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my lightly modded 2006 GT LTD with NAV. Bought it in 5/06 with 19 miles on it. As for brakes I upgraded to Dot 4 fluid, steel braided lines and Porterfield RS4 pads and Cusco Master Brake Cylinder bracket. Big Difference. These are getting RARE!!!!!!

My dad owned an 05 Legacy GT, they are defiantly awesome. It's just as fast the WRX same motor, more room, and I like the looks better. I'm 17 and hopefully by the end of the summer if hardworking pays off I'll have one :D

I searched used Subaru legacy's in my area and I got over 100 results, but as soon as I put in manual transmission only it got 2 results. and they were both an ugly brown color. so sad (cry cry)

I really like what a Cobb Stage 1 tune and a set of Bilstein B6's all around with fresh Subie springs has done for my 2005 LGT wagon. I have never driven a WRX, but I can really throw this wagon around to my satisfaction. On a 0 degree F morning, be real careful, both hands tight on the wheel in second gear. The turbo loves that cold air. Wish it had six speeds. The Limited cloth interior is elegant and durable, a few Momo and STi trinkets make it a bit more special, especially the STi grill. Debadging makes it look a lot cleaner in the back. Hard to think of a reason to change to something else, except for the lack of room for my size 13's under the dash.

I know this an old video but I loved my 2008 Subaru Leg GT. Was station in Colorado and it was a blast to drive out there. Intake/exhaust/rims/tires was all it really needed to make it super fun to drive. Traded in in around 2015 for a truck and still got 8k for it with 150k miles. I bought her at 5 miles and she drove hard the whole times and she loved it. I wish they would bring it back but after 08 and the spec b it’s looked like a corolla.

There was a 07 Legacy GT in my area with 70k miles on it, fully decked out with all of the options and standard for like $7k. WRX's with twice the miles are still priced higher lmao. For sure underrated. These cars are nice.

I had a 2006 Legacy GT and loved it. The clutch was garbage but an ACT replacement no longer an issue. Perrin Sway bars, end links, SPT Cold air induction, Cobb Cat back exhaust, Motegi Drift wheels. Meagan Coil overs. The car was like a Stealth Fighter. No markings, all black.

Just a few days ago I took a ride with a friend, who owns a Legacy GT 2.5 and I recognized, that this is an awesome car.. Really much fun!

Ive got a JDM Legacy GT spec B estate, with the twinscroll making 320bhp, its pulls great. the mushy brakes are mostly due to the rubber brake hoses going bad, i had the same issue with mine.

What I look forward too on this channel the most... The glamour shots.

Known turbo problems on the '05-'08 Legacy GT. I have an '05 Legacy GT wagon that I have owned since brand new and it has 107,000 miles....but my fingers are still crossed as far as the turbo is concerned. Very good looking and handling car and mine is bone stock.

I have an 3.0 H6 Spec B from 08, 6mt. Amazing all rounder, handles so well specially in the wet, which it always is in England! Definitely worth if you need the extra space and and nice equipment, better than my 5 series. Thanks for the video, nice to see Legacies on the channel :-)

I have a 05 legacy wagon 2.5 gt Atlantic blue pearl let me just say I always get looks and compliments ohh and I got the black leather seats too which throws people off how clean it is…

the shifting issue where it hops a little is the same as my 96 Impreza. if you don't slow down your shift a little and rev match it'll do that, and yes that means rev matching while shifting up as well as down

My first Subaru was an '05 LGT, it was a great car. I don't know about anyone else but I think it drives like an STi without all extra boost.

Just picked an 08 2.5i for 500 bucks, found a rolled gt and am poppin the turbo in now. So Stoked

You should do a Subaru Legacy or Outback with the EZ30D gen 2 (unofficially known as the EZ30R), sounds like an exotic with the right exhaust setup cause of that flat 6 boxer. They sell supercharger kits and turbo kits and they came with the same 6-speed as the STI overseas so I'm sure someone has swapped one over here.

This is one of my favourite sport saloons alongside the Audi S4 (B5 and B6 versions)

My friend in autos has an 05 legacy. We had it in for an oil change, sounded good. But they put the oil filter surrounded by the exhaust manifold so it was hard to change

I think these look better than wrx/sti, especially this one perfectly low and the front end looks real mean 🤩 those wheels look great too

Just found a super clean one with like 125kmi. Turbo 2.5, exhaust on it and an auto.. really thinking about getting it, though i have an '08 gti lined up thats also really nice, both for like $4k no less!!
