Part 4: Lots of new home reno challenges this time around with spray painting our cabinets for the first time, and drywalling for the first time. We started with a lumpy finish and some knocked over doors, but we managed to get a good hang of it, untillllll I broke the paint tent. Then I tackled drywall, something that looks pretty easy, but wow I have so much respect for drywallers. They make it look easy.

I love that you acknowledge that this is hard and makes you uncomfortable but you're still trying new things, learning new skills and persevering. 💛 Also my brain is a mix of I need to know what every button does eventually but right now just tell me how to do it 🤣

At first, I was like reno update yay!.. then cabinets came down, then the tent, then the shop vac explosion... Dayum reno gods give a girl a break!. I'm glad you pushed through, the cabinet colors look great and your mudding is,*chefs kiss*.

Also, wet-sanding is not hard! Creates a great finish, although I've only done it on wood.

@@dreamie9868 ah yes mud is a little different bc it's such a soft material that wet sanding apparently makes it too easy to remove too much

Omg when the cabinets came down I said, this poor girl maaaaan 😬 I would have spazzed then cried lol u handled urself so well. I’m SO impressed you’re not sitting in a puddle of tears on your (now beautiful) kitchen floor. I would be! Who knew air could be such an enemy? Re Mr. ‘let me explain’ - is your husband by any chance…an engineer? I feel your pain. Me: “Just tell me what I need to know right now to do this well.” My fella:”Well, this is the framistan. It’s bifurcated, which means the equipment will run more smoothly when…” 🤣

I admire you!! You're doing and learning so much! I'm just comfortable enough to find a stud in my wall to hang a mirror, and you're out there tiling, drywalling, mudding, painting... 💪 I loved the quick "Previously on" at the beginning of the video, and your editing and storytelling is great 👌 Looking forward to the next video :)

I love the finish you got with your sprayer (and since you, as a perfectionist, said that you loved the 'factory like' finish as well, it must be a great sprayer!), could you tell me what sprayer you used? I do have an air compressor as well! Thanks!!

Hi Linda!!!! It’s called the Astro Pneumatic EUROHV103. Highly highly recommend! Stef loves to do lotttttsssss of research and he says this one is the best bang for your buck. LMK if you need a link/have questions!

Do you mix your own spackle? Maybe it's the camera or I've used a different method, but it looks terribly thin.

I bought pre-mixed mud, and based off google was told to add a little more water to premix! I found that my first application was just way too thin so the drywall sucked up all the moisture
