Going through the exact same thing right now. I am Indian (Punjabi) and he is White (Canadian). My family doesn't want anything to do with our relationship and me, his family is very sweet and is always there for us. Anyone else on the same boat, pls reply to this comment so we can support each other or be there for each other. I am officially in therapy because this is the toughest thing ever.

I like that you say some cabinets can be organised and some can be messy. It's so stressful to think that everything has to stay organised all the time and everywhere. Especially after watching some videos and see how clean and organised others are. Maybe they are always and everywhere organised, but it's good to know that it's okay to be messy sometimes, somewhere.

I think these kind of hacks can be learned from older generations across cultures! My mom doesn't have a lot of sustainable hacks but since becoming a mom myself, my gramma and I have become really close and it's really changed how I approach sustainable living and I don't think she even knows there's a word for the things she does 😂

This is so relatable to me as well, a Chinese Malaysian, a drawer of noodles, a cupboard of types of rice as well , a drawer of all the Chinese herbs for soups , nutritious teas and desserts....

Very relatable kitchen organization level. This isn’t like 90 percent of the kitchen organization videos on KZfaq. That is a compliment.

YOU DID THAT!!! I love how you include the good and the less good parts of your building process, and that you keep going. This video was very inspiring. It's very eerie how your uploads always align with what I'm doing irl in the current moment. I'm working on sprucing up our shed (that I definitely didn't build) and possibly making a little work station for myself. I'd love to see how you organize the inside of your shed, especially how you incorporate a dust collector. That mini shed was hilarious and adorable. Funny enough I've never stepped foot into a home hardware despite having them around me, I tend to opt for rona and home depot but I really need to check one out these days. The workers seem very knowledgeable which is great for someone who always has a million questions and loves guidance. Great work once again and please keep us updated!

Congrats on this huge development! You should be so so proud, it looks amazing. Thank you for being candid about the struggles of completing a DIY project plus the public perception that can sometimes throw a wrench into an already daunting process. It's much appreciated & inspiring to me and I'm sure many others as I deal with some of those same pressures. Looking forward to the finished product and wishing you luck on the journey! 💗
