Wow, the quality here is very impressive. Definitely better than what I've seen from cadets in some time. I also love the snare tuning and the uniforms.

Oh my goodness!!! Clean!!!!!! Clean!!!! Clean!!!! If they are this clean 3 days ago, holy jeeeez I can’t wait to hear them at finals. Cadets always on top of their game. Thank you Lee Beddis. Thank you for keeping it all cadets. Thank you for not over exaggerating the ballet dancing. In your face cadets……..the way it should be🎉

Is Beddis doing Cadets this year? Snare tuning and writing is very Crown 09,10! If the tenor line gets on the same page as the other sections I think these guys will be on fire in August. Nice job guys!

It makes me so happy to hear this “classic” Cadets sound. Don’t get me wrong, I have always appreciated what Aungst had done, but the line has not hit me musically or visually for the past few years. Thank you, Beddis, for bringing the attention back to the book…which is super awesome and tight!

Snares are playing really well through some tough passages. Love the tuning too - Snares have some of that old school crown sound, basses sound unmistakably cadets haha. Keep up the great work yall!

Like 4:07 there’s a few “stop and go”, attacks on the upbeat, etc. in moments where I know the hands want to keep truckin and the snares handle the space REALLY well. Hand pressure changes from rolls to singles in the same meter are IN THERE too. Extremely impressive.

Loosen the top head tension just a turn. Goodness, it sounds a lot like playing on a 5 gallon bucket or drywall. Deeper not tighter in this case. Great chops, but the drums sound cheap. Sorry. Just my opinion.

Haven’t seen an 18 and 20 on top two since 2018. It looks like it’s a 28 and 32 on bottom two, a first for the Corps (from what I see).

I have a question about uniforms. I have seen both this uniform and the traditional Cadets uniform in use this year. Was this a temporary uniform until this year’s came in? Do they wear these when it’s too hot? Thanks whoever can explain this for me

This is the uniform for their competitive show. They wear the traditional (West Point) uniforms for parades.

They started that in the 80's under Zingali 1) To break down old habits and build up new ones (just like the army) 2. To be different/innovate 3.Right foot lead is common practice in the theater 4. It is now a corps tradition.

Love Love Love Cadets .....but! Those dots are just on top of each other way too much. Whish they were more musical and break the tenor parts away from the snare score. Awesome all the same. Clean from a very talented line. 👍 Get It .
