Rhythm & Blues and rock'n'roll pioneers, the Cadillacs (Founding members Earl "Speedo" Carroll and Bobby Phillips, with Gary K. Lewis, Johnny Brown and musical director Eddie Jones) perform their 1956 Josie label release, "The Girl I Love", for a P.O.R.C.C. audience in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 24, 1997. Carroll was just 18 years old when he recorded "The Girl I Love". At the time of this performance, he was in his 60th year. Earl retired from performing in 2011 shortly after Phillips' death and passed away in 2012.
