The medical appointment went very well. I have been told to drop the Mounjaro and Trulicity injectables for now. The Dr. felt that i was doing a good job in keeping the blood glucose in check without those as the manufacturers are putting profit in front of people's health. When the celebs and lottery winners are willing to pay upward of $800.00 per dose just to lose the weight, guess where the manufacturers go. Enough said. My A1C was where they want me to be at. Good morning Mike!! It was really nice to meet Marne last night. Very nice guy! I see the diner got swapped out with a Cross Country Cafe/Diner Lounge (37000) or whatever they want to call it. A lot of people put them down, but I really enjoyed them on the Texas Eagle before they went to the Flexible menu. The seats are definitely more comfortable and the table lights are very nice. I wonder if BNSF has been able to get some of the loaded coal into Denver as I saw at least 3 trains between Sidney and Brush just sitting in sidings waiting. The train in Brush was blocking a crossing and saw two empty coal trains and Amtrak and was still going to wait for at least a 4th but I didn’t stick around to see what that was. One of these mornings I’ll make it out to see the Zephyr with you and share a required cup of coffee after. Hope the trip to the doctor went well.
