Agreed. I've recently been playing it finally and I love it. And yes once you get the comeback down it's gold. I love the level design and each location and enemy interaction could potentially lead to your death. It's makes each fight personal.

Just that Dodge... It's great for individual enemies, but aggravating against groups. That's the only thing that needs tweaked.

i think another 6 months would be perfect. all they have to do is add the story dlc as an epilogue and not be dlc just be the next chapter like then when you beat the game new game + and hardcore mode are ready to go along with the horde mode and other stuff in the season pass. the reviews would be waaaaayyyy different if that was the case but noooooooo money money money money

I don't think another 6 months would've "fixed" its inhertit problem of its copypasta nature. It's a far outta date game concept that is not new nor orginal, and that's its problem. You already KNOW what you're getting so nothing interesting happens and the game play is, sadly, repeatitive. Sure 6 month or a year would've polished the technical side of the game. But that's it.

It makes perfect sense to me. He wasn't allowed to make contact to the planet when he's crashing into it. Better maintaining him in prison instead of risking him not keeping his mouth shut

I think it is poor writing: it gives Jacob “his redemption” arc. He had to know what he is transporting is dangerous especially with the deal of employment being no questions asked. That should have the tip off right there. Also if Max can see that Jacob had to have known. Cole called it when he said he wanted to survive but granted anyone would have taken the job.

@@mozwald1 I don’t think there would be list of anything or at best there would be one that is false to cover up. Again there really is not enough world building. Cause in the game the lab on Europa had to be working with Black Iron so if it is not that far for a ship to travel to for quick deliveries or drop offs why even bother with a list and they had to know that Dani’s group would look into this. If they had more audio or data logs to explain more of the smaller details that would be better to get your story and set up the world building

​@@RandoLePerson Y'know, I'll bite. I beat it Maximum Security, no Skunk Gun or Assault Rifle (and no perfect dodge that I discovered after I beat the game.) I found almost all CORE logs, save for one I'm doing a playthrough to grab, and I looked at all of the ones I did find. I'm not gonna argue about my personal views on it, but I would be interested in hearing more from your side of the fence. I will tell you what I think, but I'll try not to let it impact my thoughts of your thoughts. I think it's a right dandy game. Fun, hard, decent story (if not a bit confusing what with all the Patient Zero & Alpha stuff) and one of the better romps in gaming I've had in a long while. Too bad it's so laggy at times. Sure isn't Max Payne or Halo but for a linear game it's serviceable. At least it's easier to comprehend than Elder Scrolls. Once you find the C0DA & KINMUNE parts of Elder Scrolls, you realize just how nuts that whole series really is. So, tell me about the biggest issues in your experience. I'd be happy to discuss this, as one civilized folk to another. Can't hurt, I got a lot of free time for the next couple of days. I might not see it though but if you still put the effort in I thank you kindly nonetheless.

The game was strong in the beginning, but as it goes on it just got repetitive, both in story and combat, hit the space zombie 4 times until a certain point in the story then you gotta hit them 8 times but only if you kill them before the tentacles come out then that’s a total of 12 times you need to hit or shoot them to kill, the main story was almost predictable at times including the lines (I always say if a story is too predictable then it’s probably not a good story, especially the lines if it’s just some mcu level of dialogue then it’s ass) oh what’s this? We meet up with a friend for a couple minutes? Nice, oh now for some story reason we’re not separated from them for 10 - 20 minutes, what’s that over there? Why it’s our pal again that we hang out with for a few more minutes until again we get separated and have to find our way alone, guess you already know what’s coming up right? It’s our pal, ohhhhh who would’ve saw that we get separated from them…. Again! The bosses were trash, the 2 headed tank we fight 5 times in the span of like 2 hours was getting pretty old, the alpha boss fight was anti climatic along with his 2 copy and pasted gimick boss fights made the 2nd half of the game and end game like a 4/10 for me, but the first half was pretty good, I’m not a big horror guy but oh man was I creeped out and literally on the edge of my seat during that time, literally didn’t want to continue playing the game because of how unnerved I was, not how bored and annoyed I was with the 2nd half, I give the 1st half a 6 or 7/10, as a whole it’s probably a 4/10 for me, the game had so much potential but I feel like was rushed and development didn’t have enough care put into the game which is the case for many games nowadays but still. I wanted to like this game, I do like the actual story about B.I.P and Callisto just not enough to buy the dlc when it comes out, probably just watch a video explaining the story. Did not like the cliffhanger ending too

I agree with you and Also we never really learn much about the alien aside from affect that they CAN have on humans. Heck they could be allergic to Oxygen or Have a a terribly weak immune system. and from what I understand they were taking samples from parasites that formed from the alien and not the alien itself (correct me if im wrong).
