Little Nightmares is literally my fave game EVER!! I would love to know what the creators were thinking when they made some of the monsters and environments I didn't know that they were inspired by great britain but it does actually make sense now that i'm looking at it properly, do you think maybe they took some inspiration from japanese culture too with the lady and her style?

I always thought lollipop kid would be in the little nightmares 2 DLC :( a little disappointed that he wasn't but this theory gives me hope that we may still see some semblance of him in the new game! 🥳🤞

I think the ferryman is some kind of God and so is the ferryman, I loved when you compared him to Anubis because that was exactly what I thought he was like because he can shapeshift too

This could have some real substance :) For all we know about The Ferryman, he could very well be the hero of this story, or at the very least THINK he is. You're absolutely right, I agree that it is implied that the candy which Otto supplies to the children in his care is drugged! Really good observation :) Also, you have me questioning if this particular character was inspired by a sinister spin on Mary Poppins! Odd that they float away on umbrella's in The Necropolis, isn't it? ;)

The writers for Sounds of Nightmares did an incredible job or developing the characters and the voice acting was absolutely phenomenal! They truly outdid themselves, as they often do! :)

You probably aren’t keen on the designs cause you aren’t use to them, I know I’m probably gonna love the characters when I play it and supermassive I think are the best choice since they have made a few really popular games and they look to really care about this game also tarsier left some notes for them so that will help.

itsjustjord is my go too Little Nightmares theorist as well :) I believe the character designs only seem out of place because we're trying to associate them with the previous games whereas the new ones seem to adopt a different hue and tone. I believe their designs are incentive to promote resourcefulness and experience within The Spiral, given that we know they have been there for a long time. I think we will come to love them when we know their stories :)

I agree, I think that the character designs are intentionally based around the new environment we will be exploring and that we can't make any rash judgements based on their appearance just yet. I was sceptical of Mono when I first saw him and now he's our boy! :) Let's give Low and Alone a chance!

@@Gemini540I recently just got more evidence for this, because of the 18min gameplay footage released. You can see Low shoot down a raven with his bow. Im guessing the ravens act as collectibles, like the static kids did to Mono in LN2

⁠@@Gemini540he said it before me but yeah not only that the brother in the comics might be low why else would he shoot the raven and having a mask. The North wind knows the fate of the brother which is why he was carrying his dead sister. The sister and brother both had the same fate as six and mono and the North wind calls the ferryman a cheat meaning he creates more time loops. Each village and town have charms that ward off the North but the thing is these charms were given by the eye and not meant to work at a certain time which explains the North goes on a rampage killing everyone in these towns and villages trying to find the brother and killing his sister. Unlike mono he can and try to break the loop or a least disrupt it. His pure hatred of children stems of the powers they have or could in the future since those powers they possessed can keep the time loop going and explains the lady doesn’t really kill and thin man. Thin man’s rage and loneliness gets the better of him and tortured six why doesn’t he just kill six and stop it? Doesn’t matter for the eye and ferryman since they can get other children even if they have no powers. Some children are destined to be powerful beings while a decent amount will not but the North wind wants to use that some to stop the loop. The North wind could be a small antagonist but he will be more prominent once he sees and learns low can travel through mirrors. I really apologize for my grammar I’m not native English

@@Gemini540I forgot some things such as the Veronica song and it’s lyrics. “Help her, help her, help her and we’ll see”. Parallel’s on six and mono but also low and alone. “My way, my way, my way and you’ll see”. This could mean that ferryman had a more subtle approach to the brother in coming with him as he’s less threatening and wasn’t trying to kill him or appear. “Having a nightmare in a boat”. This is ferryman’s fears and nightmares:). “Come with me oh no no no, he hung, he hung, he hung, don’t leave me, no more bellman among the sea”. Ferryman was transporting an another child on his boat but a hurricane or strong violent storms hit him but It was the North wind that found him and rather be killed by his adversary of the eyes and himself he quickly tied himself to a anchor and killed himself. The first comment you mentioned is that he can take forms such as the wax bellman and the sister which is why I think he’s dead. North wind has disrupted the loop and now any child with powers can become him. The gatekeeper is now dead and no more gatekeepers like him will appear. As long as no more children will be transported to the maw and every single adult has now been brainwashed to the tv posing no threats to children and the eyes panicking about losing it’s influence. I think the North wind this outright destroyed the tower and few more towns and villages but not the entirety of the eye. I chose to be believe little nightmares 3 is a sequel or more to explain what happened to the city before and after at the same time seeing I gone way too far with this theory. Explains why there is body bags and people turned to stone a little. Low himself has a raven’s mask but said name is low but why? The North wind is named since he possesses power of wind and the North is very windy and cold. He also fly very high this like crows and crows seem be disliked by villages and cites for many years this like low. Low like his design and name appears he is wing clipped but not for very long. You also notice one eye socket is bigger than the other?

I think the potential for cameos is certainly there, although I couldn't be sure who! Personally, I really hope that they do link this game back to the other ones at least in part so that we can figure out more of what is really going on
