Jean Luc Picard is dead?!! Say it aint sooooooooo...... ;) The artwork kind of reminded me of video game Space Channel 5. The standees are pretty cool. Thanks for another great review.

I would call it "Vector Geometric" art style. I made that up, but if you google images the words you will see the art style.

WOW, I would think there would be 2 approaches. 1) Does it work. 2) How does DS stand up to the latest releases of "dudes on the map" . The 2 could be unique and contrasting opinions.

As an FYI it is not new game as it was originally released, via Kickstarter if memory serves me right, by the Game Crafter in 2014. It now has two expansions (episodes) as well. I'm curious if AEG changed much as normal back when we first played was hard but got easier as we learned more about the game and the system interactions. I would definitely say try it with a higher player count and to play with people who love SciFi TV shows as it really brings out the theme even more. I dig the new character stands they look fantastic and I'm glad they kept the overall look and feel in a similar style as the original release.

DarthKaboda Thanks for clarifying. I actually mentioned it came out on Gamecrafter in one on my takes that didn't make the cut. Didn't know it was first on Kickstarter through.

@@DriveThruReview Saw your review on Samurai Battles. Decided to invest some research time in making it a reality to possess. Couldn't score the core set but with some creativity, decided to go with Bananagrams tiles to proxy in for soldiers and the like (a la Napoleonic and Ancients). Also researched the command and colors website and found a wealth of info. Thanks for the reviews, it's very informative and honest 👍👍👍
