This video was my introduction Glenn Proudfoot and its not only his playing that I loved. Just seems like a very grounded guy. Really enjoyed his thoughts about being a diverse player because sometimes you need that. Looking forward to exploring more of his music!

Thank You Capt. for what you do. This interview was great for me, the info from 32 min. to 39 min. was personally revealing. One of those moments , that the light comes on. It's wonderful when the artist is given a chance to speak openly and candid!

This is brilliant! Thank you for introducing me to another guitarist I wish I was 😂. Lee your interviewing technique is so refreshing, absolutely love the way you don’t have your questions written down so it’s more of a conversation that an interview. So many interviewers don’t listen to the answers they are getting as their head is down reading the next question. Awesome video 🤘

Glenn's the type of guitarist who can get a MINI to travel 300KPH! He's very quick and strong for a young player. Probably, the BEST IN PRAGUE!👍

Proudfoot did a brief Guitar World column a few years ago and his technique is fantastic. Somewhat like Blues Saraceno with a similar warm tone, some shades of Eric Johnson and some killer Paul Gilbert diminished stretches. The shredding torch has been passed!

Message for the Captain about not playjng an instrumental album all over again : please get you a copy of Johnny A.’s ‘Sometime Tuesday Morning’ and try to say that again ;-) I bet you will love this album !!!! ps. I didn’t get paid for this message. It’s just a shame not too many people knows this great artist. You should invite him to this show ! He has his own Gibson signature guitar.

The real test is to listen to these KZfaq demos blindfolded and see how long your listening attention is held musically. Then do the same with Blow by Blow, or Ah Via Musicom, or even the live side of Wheels of Fire. Eventually you’ll become a Miles Davis listener. This is not a bad thing.

Glen should look into getting a Proanalog Manitore, if he likes the Klon clarity but then also might want a bit more range too. Great player. Not knowing Ian Thornley is Glen's moment that's similar to The Captain never watching Crossroads.

So Glen's fretboard has been flattened, i was wondering if it was completely flat like a classical guitar? And, has a big piece of carbon fibre also been added? ... ..it looks like there's a black strip that disappears under where the neck joins the body Great interview, I'm jealous of him having a place in Prague→ possibly my favorite city. 1977...i was 12 yrs old...it was the year of the Queens silver jubilee...elvis dies...and punk really starts kickin" !!!. this was the year I got my first guitar. it was a "kansas" tobacco sunburst acoustic from the local second hand shop for £3.50. I took it home on the bus where two old ladies asked me to play a tune, well I'd never played before and gave the whole bus load of people a rendition of "home on the range"...needless to say everybody applauded !!!. it probably wasn't the version they expected as the guitar only had 4 rusty strings !!!. later that year I got my first electric which was a "Winfield" audition guitar, and my amp was a "Selmer truevoice" . I payed £10 for the amp from a school friend. i had guitar lessons at 14 yrs old, and from there...the rest is history !!!. thanks for helping me remember such warm memories. I'm still playing today, and always will !!!.
