Learn about the history of the steamship-turned-cruise-vessel Katahdin (aka "The Kate") and how it was once used on log drives on Maine's Moosehead Lake. Today, you can cruise Moosehead aboard the wooden vessel, which is berthed in Greenville adjacent to the Moosehead Marine Museum. This shot film also features an interview with Rocky Rockwell, one of the Kate's captains, who first rode aboard the vessel when she was being used in the log drives, which ended in 1975 on Moosehead.
