Mucha Grande Schumacher make excellent cars. Indeed made in the UK and they have always produced super quality cars since the original Cat. Americans have their Associated and Losi cars so they cannot appreciate Schumacher but hope that changes. On a side note all these new cab forward cars look ugly AF!!

@@Roger-nu2ec To be fair, the higher end for TLR and Associated is pretty on-par with brands like Schumacher, Serpent and Xray. The problem is that the US has a nasty income inequality issue due to wages not increasing with the rate of inflation, and most people find it difficult to afford dropping money on $300 worth of kit PLUS another $300+ on running gear. Even the Associated B6.2 and Losi 22x aren't selling well. And it doesn't help that our racing scene is toxic and elitist as fuck, demanding that people either show up with a top-end kit or GTFO. I haven't gotten to drive it yet but I recently built a Schumacher Eclipse 3 as a practice car (since LMP12 doesn't really exist in most places in the US) to get used to higher-end on-road cars since I'm planning on eventually getting a 1/8th scale nitro Can Am car (most likely the MUGEN MRX6X - Serpent's always out of stock and Xray is still transitioning from the RX8.2 to the RX8.3).

Hey Rick. I would go straight to the Laydown if the budget allows it. It will give you the most room to grow and current setups to work with. Plus it's newer, so parts support is there, where the KC and KD came out in 2017. Hope this helps man. -Brett

Get the stock spec if you're racing stock. It's already comes with the slipper eliminator and parts to reduce weight. We had to add the eliminator to our vehicle, which was more money and more work (the stock spec didn't exist at the time). Compared to the B6.2? Oh boy... that I cannot say - both vehicles are extremely capable on carpet, more so than most drivers. It's a coin toss my friend; just pick your favorite and go for it! -Brett

@@AMain_Hobbies Thanks, man. So back in those days, I lusted after the Rampage GP10 (1/10th scale nitro buggy), but never bought it. I think it was just too expensive. I also dreamed about the Burns DX or the Turbo Burns. Funny, that I've been thinking about the Rampage since then; always wondering what it would have been like! So here I am, perhaps stupidly, getting into nitro for the first time in a LONG time. I've since grown up--some!--and have the buying power, so I said, "what the hell," but after watching a lot of the break-in videos, trying to find the right engine, and trying to keep up with the changes. As of now, I have an MP10 heading my way, but now I'm thinking "this was a mistake!"

I'm wanting to dive into racing again I really looooved it as a hobby just my last setup 15 years ago was a Traxxas rustler electric with a rooster esc and a stingray 16t motor that was looking time ago now they have digital stuff like esc etc......
