If you take the cast out of the equation, Tokyo drift was indeed the best. The story, direction and production on that one was next level.

The first Love bug film is the best car film. Days of thunder is good, Ford vs Ferrari and Rush are nice too. Fast and Furious is total garbage.

they are "STG" company cars... YT'ers love to say "my" which I suppose is the case if you own the company but if you don't hold the title it actually belongs to the lender.

I bought a Sepang Blue 2015 B7 RS4 from Tony during lockdown. Looked ok when it arrived, but kept knocking as mentioned after a week of owning it. I mentioned it to Tony in numerous calls and he kept saying "that's how they are mate" So I had the DSC recharged at £500 and had it inspected by a professional, it turns out that all 4 tyres were catastrophically bald especially on the inner walls, along with all 4 bushes being worn. After several more calls to Tony, he agreed to pay for it to be sorted. That aside the car still knocked, so I took it to Mac Audi, they diagnosed that it was coming from a misaligned bonnet (it had had a dent removed prior to sale), plus it needed a full service inc the diff. So £2.8k later 🤯 the car was all sorted and perfect. To round it all off I received a fine for not paying the toll on a bridge out of Kent, which was activated by the guys delivering it. Class bit of customer service. Tony did again pay for it, but we should not have had to have gone through all of that. Moral is, always get a car inspected independently prior to purchase. Audi may have been expensive but they did a cracking job of putting the car right.

7.30 I used to own a b8 rs4 WITHOUT dynamic ride control. Probably most bulletproof car Ive ever owned. Nothing went wrong over the 2 years I owned it, not a single warning light or anything. It had done 130.000km when I sold it. Great car, did trackdays in it, drove it through 50cm of snow in the winter without problems. Not as fun as competitors on twisty roads, but as a package, great car. And those wheel arches. Will probably own another one at some point. So go for one without the drc and you'll be fine

My first car was a Capri, currently I have a Mustang Bullitt (cool movie btw) and I will have a look at the Cyberster when it arrives here in Germany. If Tony says that more than 50% cars registered are SUVs it is no wonder, as 90% produced are SUVs. Sad times for enthusiasts. All the best to you for 2024.

My old man used to run an Audi/VW dealership back in the day and they used to register cars all the time in order to keep the numbers up. Tony's right, just because they are registered it doesn't mean they are sold. New cars this year, as much as I'm gutted they've gone that way, I'm interested to see what Jaguar come up with for their new electric line-up.

B8 RS4 is the one youre referring to. Yes the suspension is troublesome, but spend £3k on a set of decent coilovers and you've sorted the problem. That's really all they have problems with

Grand Prix has some of the best shots ever recorded of monaco is the best f1 film ever, they knew what they were doing is not a hollywood vision of racing, altough it has a movie star of its time as the main character. That being said it has many cameos of the 60's f1 legends is a must see movie for any f1 fan or car enthusiast for that matter.

EVs sell well in countries where ICE cars traditionally have been highly taxed. In Norway EVs make up over 80 percent of new car sales. Sale of EVs in Denmark is also taking off. In china they’re all going EV. I think you need to look outside of the UK for some perspective :)

The new vantage should have gone straight 6 (half the Valk cosworth engine) and hybrid 🤪 I was thinking of swapping old 14 plate vantage for an AMR 2018 vantage. Just a bit more reliable etc.

Has anyone been on Tony’s website recently? Last time I looked last year minimum 20k cars Mostly 20k-60k Now he’s selling fiat 500’s, 2008 1.9 tdi golfs, cars lower down the spectrum. How times have changed in the last 12 months with cars, but Tony has adapted because in Business you have too, or you finish. I think Tony is secretly flapping, hes not “busy” like he says he is. The autotrader price tracker on hes cars above 30k are taking big drops must be loosing money like he said on alot of cars atm To think he ripper into people for anything older than 3 year old now he’s hardly got any prestige stock

Tony hit the nail on the head, most of these EV 'registered' figures are sitting in fields ...... The average public is not buying them, only ones being bought in general are through business / fleet due to the incentives. Even then, no one actually wants them This year is going to be very interesting with the ZEV % of sales for BEV's ..... most brands are nowhere near the 22% they need to hit for 2024

A cracking car! A shame that it is made in Wuhan (ahem!) in China though. I think that the brand is stretching its heritage a bit, being built where it is. If I had the money, this car would appear to be something of a bargain when put up against the Lambo Urus. A wonderful, well filmed and produced film, Pete.

In Europe the ICE Macan is finished, except the orders already in the pipeline. In the U.K. they will continue supplying ICE Macans for a while. My guess is until this year end, assuming build-allocations are still available at the OPC?

You should note, that here in America Hertz car rental is having a fire sale on 20K electric cars, because they don't rent them. Also, the range in the recent low temps is terrible.

The Alpine is not as big as the Hyundai Ioniq 5. It's way smaller. Less than 4 meters.

no, it isn't. It is quite big. 4 m has a gr yaris. EV r5 is much much bigger than a gry.

@@eugenux The Alpine A290 is 3,92 meters long. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is 4,63 meters long. That's a huge difference. Don't know where Sam got the idea that the two cars are the same.
