We need Jason Dohring to do a guest spot on Good Place as a demon love interest

The Season 4 ending was a rude awakening that we actually live in The Bad Place. If we lived in The Good Place, it would have ended differently.

If Logan doesn't "Jon Snow" himself in season 5 I HOPE THERE's NO SEASON 5 cause if that's the end of Logan than it's the end of "VM" show and we have to deal with it

I agree I'm sure I'm not the only fan to be extremely upset with that ending. I understand some people aren't going to always be happy with endings, but I feel there is no justice or reasoning to what happened.

The interviewer was so spot on when he said that "the soap operatic nature never got in the way of the show". Rob says "I want to make it a pure mystery and not have half teen soap and half mystery, I want to make this an adult show". Guess what? Marriage and dealing with marriage is what adults do. There was never a teen soap aspect that got in the way of the show. Even in season 4, when LoVe was "perfect", they weren't. They still had their own issues to work through. Showing us how they work through that - that's adulthood. Rob says he wants the next seasons to be a "whodunnit" trapped in a big house, away from Neptune, fine - let LoVe hit the road together!! There was ZERO reason to do that to our beloved Logan. Veronica and the mysteries she solves are not the only reason we love the show. We love the universe that's been created. We love the relationships, the characters. Making it ONLY about Veronica shows us you don't really know what we want...

I can't deal. Theres no reason to keep this show going without its principle characters. I can't. Veronica isn't the only reason we tune in for the show.

After growing Logan as a character and getting the audience to root for him and his development from teen jackass to a great adult who serves as Veronica’s rock and then make that his ending is unforgivable in my opinion. I feel like I grew up with these characters and it’s so hard to rewatch old episodes now knowing it’s his end. And also to watch Veronica’s story when she’s had very little growth and has heartbreak after heartbreak thrown at her it’s just not inspiring anymore. I’d like to think her story ended with her being happy with her sole mate and still being a badass PI that gets justice for others. I just don’t understand how that couldn’t have been her story and their story. It makes me sad because I really care about these characters since I was a teenager. It’s unfair that thus us their ending and I think it’s lazy on RT’s part to think that this is the only place he could take them

Rob has NO IDEA what he brought on himself. The fans are not happy with his "explosive" ending and this choice will be his undoing.

I was 8 years old. I just moved into a house with my mom and brother after homelessness. We slept on a mattress on the floor of our livingroom until we get beds and I remember my mum and I watching Veronica Mars. Amazing part of my childhood

Just strolling along, found this video on KZfaq...BAM! Flood of messages about that ending and the severely mixed reactions people had to it. I'm a HUGE LoVe fan, no doubt. I've shipped them since before shipping was a thing as well. Primarily because it was an incredibly complex and romantic relationship that involved serious character growth on both sides. And the way Logan was portrayed in season 4 was unbelievably good. Logan has always had a penchant for sort of drawing Veronica -- something the movie made extremely clear -- and has had a hold on her since the pilot even. So to watch Jay play Logan still doing that, but sort of drawing Veronica into a relationship that can be solid and balanced and decent and grown up was awesome. Because Logan in season 4 has grown up, matured, worked through his demons. And he sort of spends the season forcing Veronica to confront her own. Which was a big part of why I loved season 4. Right up until the end. All you wackos out there saying that we're just rabid fans all dramatic over our heartbreak at the end of season 4, I'm going to give you a valid reason the ending is more than painful -- it just freaking sucks. Because all of that growth and complex storytelling is COMPLETELY UNDERMINED by *SPOILER ALERT* Logan's death. At the end, that voicemail Logan leaves Jane and says that he wants to marry Veronica because she's tough and he wants to be like her...I mean sure. That's probably a little bit true. But Veronica is damaged. Logan is damaged. That was the connection that allowed LoVe to grow. But Logan worked on it, and like Kris says, Veronica ends up being the stagnant one. So Logan just sort of nudges and pushes and occasionally fights with her so she'll confront her own demons, so she can grow up too. And at the end, his death and it happening 2 seconds after their wedding and then BAM! He just puts her on a pedestal and it's like...what's the point?

Seen season 4, was good till the end. Can't figure out how they forgot about the backpack. they'd have turned it over to the police and they sure as hell wouldn't have taken it home with them

I have been watching Veronica Mars since I was like 7, and I mean watching and rewatching at least three times a year. It was my cure for boredom for the past ten years to the extent I can quote full scenes from the show and name who said what line or who did what in what season/episode. I love all of these actors and this show has been a major part of my life for a good bit of time. Kind of off topic but Kristen Bell has been a major roll model in my life for a long damn time and I absolutely adore her. Within the theme of being attached to this show for a greatly extended period of time Jason Dohring's character, Logan Echolls, has not only been my ideal dude because of his caring soft center and tough "I don't need anyone *ᵖˡᵉᵃˢᵉ ˡᵒᵛᵉ ᵐᵉ* " exterior, but he has also held this place in my heart where I just adore him a tad farther than my vocabulary will let me express. That all being said, I don't know if I can truly describe how distraught I was post-watching the last episode of season 4. I was horrified. I was like, "JASON- oH MY GOD LOGAN NO FUCKIN' WAY" and then sobbed hysterically for like fifteen minutes only to erase the episode from my memory and now, several months later I was like "damn I forgot how season four ended, I need to rewatch it." Im sensing at this point you've realized my dilemma, my heart RE-broke. I want to make a petiton to Rob where he just makes Logan in like some coma or something so I can scape this phase of grief, denial, and just be right. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk on why Jason's character, Logan, should still be alive. I love the show and will always support it but damn, that shit hurt. I'm a marshmallow forever, ily v-mars. 💕

I watched this show overwhelmingly for Logan and the relationship development between he and Veronica. His incredible turnaround in the new season was inspirational and it would have been amazing to watch the dance he and Veronica would do together each making the other better, sharpening each other physically, emotionally, professionally. There is SO MUCH to explore there in a procedural context and it is hardly ever explored. I would have thought this writer was up to the challenge to do that and still stay true to personality and types but obviously he is a coward and sold out to what has worked for other shows in the past. Maybe that was the only way to receive further funding from HULU. Who knows, but I for one won't be watching. And if the other comments I read are any indication, he cut off his nose to spite his face. Sad, very sad!

Kristen Bell is amazing and the world needs to see her so much more, in theaters, on TV, in their lives.

What Kristen said here about this being for the fans or because of the fans.......no, no it's not. The movie was for the fans. This was painful and horrible and unnecessary. The Marshmallows are crushed. And Rob, I hope your daughter knows that the "show you made for her" shows that you can't be happy and choose your own path. All these years for that. I can't get past it.

the ending of season 4 made zero sense. you build up all these tensions and conflicts just to finally come to a resolution and then immediately take it all away. truly terrible and honestly a slap in the face to all the fans so dedicated to the show

Please bring back Logan alive for the new season of Veronica Mars! The ending is not acceptable! It's too dramatic like in a soap opera! Logan should be involved more in solving crimes together with Veronica!

My favourite show. My dad told me about it when I was about 16 and I got to mature with it. Every time I go back and rewatch it I get something more out of it, and it’s really great sharing it with others. I even got my grandpa to watch it with me and he became immediately invested.

I watched VM much younger and thought Veronica can do no wrong. Now older, I now understand and empathize more with Keith and the adults who tried to help, protect and educate Veronica to make her better. Love this show so much.

So I only started watching this show the end of June because it was on one of the streaming services I have and I absolutely loved it. I loved the movie as well and was so looking forward to this revival, I only had to wait like a couple weeks from when I finished watching the whole show. The ending of this revival though made me really sad, like I was actually crying. The roller coaster that is Logan and Veronica was insane

They set it up to where Logan is gone for weeks for work. If Rob Thomas wanted to focus on just Veronica and have her outside of Neptune, have her do that when Logan is deployed. And bc we've already seen their 'love story', we can focus on the mystery like Rob wants. If Logan really died, Veronica will probably get new love interests, and then you'll have to focus on that, taking away from the mystery. Logan and V were finally just happy together. They fought so much in earlier seasons, esp 3. They basically made the movie to give them their happy ending and now they took it away. Sure, I'd rather them be in love and he dies, versus they break up. But my favorite part of the show was seeing LoVe happy together. Logan is so funny and his wit matches Veronica. The show needs Logan's character. Have him be in a coma, it still fits w the ending. And don't break them up again. Have them be an old married couple and focus on mysteries.

*SPOILER ALERT* (Although, I don't think it's a secret any more...) Here is how to fix it... We find out that Logan was severely injured, near death, but not dead. He is holding on by a thread, near brain dead. V can't handle it. She stays by his side as long as she can, but she can't handle seeing him so damaged, and she runs [her weakness, her inner turmoil]. She is sleuthing the evildoers and for all intents and purposes leaves him, using her investigation as her excuse. While she's off digging for clues and solving other mysteries he slowly begins his recovery. He comes back, but not fully - yet. He soon realizes that she gave up on him and he can't fully forgive that. He gains strides to a strong recovery, maybe loses functioning in some way (arm, leg, etc.). But he just can't deal with the fact she didn't believe in him. He says wish we hadn't gotten married. There's your challenged V and we have Logan back. Now Logan is actually continuing to be a better person than Veronica. Will they stay married, will Logan meet a wonderful therapist and fall in love, will V continue with therapy. Was it all a dream and there was never an explosion... Or... he wasn't in the car at all! He was taken hostage or disoriented and wandered... something!! Now go fix season 5!!!

I really Hate Season 4 Theme Song they should of kept it the way it was.

I may or may not have ugly cried a bit at the ending of season 4, but it won’t keep me from watching the next season! All y’all mad and saying you’re done, have a little faith! This show has been gold since episode 1 and only keeps getting better. “Bad boy turned good” would’ve bored you to death eventually, because all her relationships that were with “good guys” bored you to death and didn’t last. The whole LoVe relationship was rooted in trauma and loss, and their separations were the same! At least Logan didn’t have to fizzle out, because really, his character deserved nothing less than an epic sendoff!

I was about 15 and in boarding school when this aired so I found it on scattered episodes so I was pessimistic about it to pick up the DVD's so today I was on IMDB and it had an 8.3 rating and gave the pilot a chance and am on episode 5 already looking for fandom,lol.. and am 33in Uganda 🇺🇬 but the Nostalgia be real. Great show ahead of it's time 👌💯

I was freaked at the last 10 minutes as i thought it was going a different way,but not this far to the left of normal. But as Kristen was so atimate about the show must go on. And not get stale. Her line of "it not what the fans wanted ,but the fans needed!. I cannot wait for season 5. Hulu ,pick V Mars up for at least 2 season to let it become another hit.

Im so Incredibly sad that Logan died at the end. Veronica and Logan make an incredible couple and I loved watching there relationship evolve. But again I can see how this can evolve Veronica's character to want to focus solely on here work instead of settling down.

Rob I hope you make severe decisions on season 5 because of the crazy madness behind your fans cause a lot of us are so hurt and mad. I don’t believe that was the best decision for the series. There’s no true justice in it.

That 'twist' was lazy writing; nothing more than a cheap attempt to shock the audience and be lazy. The arguments the writer has given and that the actors are reluctantly repeating to justify it only demonstrate the carelessness with which the decision was made.

Like Kirby, I just didn't understand the level of cool in the original series and I guess I thought the DEMO was, well, not me. I couldn't watch them fast enough. I commented more than once the writing was like Bugs Bunny. One level for the "kids" and multi levels for all else. Smart, hip, literate, funny, just a great show. Hulu did well to snag this and so the tradition continues. Thanks Kevin for making it ago for guys like us to be fans.

Absolutely loved the new season. Thank you fans and producers for making it possible. I was pulled in so many directions and so many different feelings. I hope so much for another season :) people are upset about the season ending but i was glued to my seat. Tv shows that still manage to shock me are few and far between. Also weevil is one of the best characters :D

It seems like a lot of you people only watched because of Veronica and Logan.... honestly there is a ton of other interesting characters on this show I don’t know if y’all have noticed. And the plot, the crime she and her dad has to solve which is kind of the point of the show. It’s not a romance movie and even if it was those have tragic endings to sometimes. This is coming from someone who loved Logan to btw Ps. With his whole navy intelligence super secret career I was more surprised that he didn’t get killed off while he was away on some mission, that’s what doesn’t make sense to me. They just forgot the backpack in the car? Com on!
