I love this game (it's technically my absolute favorite), and I can't wait to dig into my brand new delivery!

In this special edition, you can expect a complete re-design of art and layout to ensure that every piece will have great art and enhance in-game usability. Only the best materials (cardboard, cart paper, box, insert, etc.) will be used to provide endurance, and a premium feel. Many extra components will bring the gaming experience to the next level, such as double-layered player boards, special bags for hexes, 30% bigger tiles, or metal coins.

Love the energy! Just to provide a correction: You have the silver mines in the black bag. The black bag is actually intended for all of the black-backed tiles that are meant to be randomized for the central depot. Since the mines aren't randomized they don't need to go in a bag.

Wonderful ... your students are so fortunate to have you as their teacher! And your game group(s) must be so fun as well. You mentioned wanting to try out the new solo mode ... ME TOO! I am going through the rules for it now (7 pages just for that Chateauma automa player) and not only is it for solo mode, but you can add it to a 2 player game to make it a three player game! Thanks for sharing your excitement and enjoyment

I got mine yesterday - played the first game (ever) with it - and really liked it. Never played the original game before, so i'm pretty blown away by it already.

"The castles have a deep deep maroon". Technicallly, in French, that would be brown. The best desciption of the colour of the castles would be burgundy. (Sorry, I'm just jealous).

Well now that you mention it...I think burgundy would be the most appropriate word choice!

Just got mine as well. So fun to open it up and see all the amazing components. Never played CoB before, so we want to learn the game and get it to the table as soon as possible!
