I love flaxseed gel as well, especially by Nature's Little Secret. I love a flexible hold. The hard crunch is not my thing. Lol

I love the African pride gel! I haven’t had it in a while and been missing it because it’s not the most accessible rn 😩 I can only order it from Sally’s at the moment but it’s such a great value. It’s awesome with the SSI pomegranate pear spray leave in but I agree, it’s perfect on its own as well! If I use a moisturizing DC prior, it works out fine. 🤗💕

Oldie but goodie: Aunt Jackie’s flaxseed don’t shrink gel. It’s probably more medium weight depending how much you add but it’s a nice texture and doesn’t weigh your hair down too much contrary to the name 😂 I like it with the SSI honey and argan milk

girl that weightless get had my hair like cardboard. it gave me super hold/crunchy hold. i dont know why but it did. i think its the pvp in it. retry it using less

A lot of people have a bad reaction to pvp unfortunately. It happens to be one of those ingredients my hair seems to favor.

@@TheThirdEyeAngel ohhh nice to know because I was wondering what I did wrong. I love the brand but this gel was interesting. If I use it again I will try using less product and see if I get the same hardddddf hold.
