I lowkey thought i was going insane when i started hearing people's thoughts before the series and then the reaction to game 1. You have one camp of people who think the OKC being so young basically disqualifies them from making a run and then you have the people who think Lu Dort is going to hold Luka to under 40% FG for the whole series.

@jonasgorea3823 yeah seriously. Dallas got smoked game 1 by LA and won the series. I see this series going 6 or 7 for sure. I would say Dallas has the advantage of the 1-2 punch but OKC has so much more shooting and scoring from their role players. I know tonight Dallas hit more 3’s cause of Washington and hardaway(potential X factors) If Dallas can give Giddey the Roberson treatment and he has to benched I like Dallas.

Comparing the Miami loss to the Cleveland loss is nite and day. Miami had the best shooting nite in their franchise history. Cleveland just kicked their ass. Miami hit 23 3s. Cleveland made 13. Comparing Miami with no Jimmy butler to Cleveland with Donavan Mitchell is crazy. Plus Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse makes Miami home court look like a Sunday Mass. Boston better be ready for Saturday nite because that arena is going to be absolutely insane. There’s a chance that Boston can get blown out again if they aren’t on their game.

You’re not giving Jason Kidd and the Mavs enough credit. Those guys weren’t wide open bc everything was going to the post first. Maybe the 1st 5 minutes but that’s it. What they did was bait okc to commit to the dbl team & soon as that happened they were swinging the ball. Normally Luka try’s to dribble through it or Kai holds onto the ball a too long. That did not happen last night. Again Kai talked about this post game. Game 3 Kidd will do something different in that game too. The Mavs always lose the first game under Kidd. He’s 5-0 in game 2’s bc he makes the right adjustments. It’s almost like he used game 1’s to see what the opponent is doing. He like Kai talked about this.

It funny how fans always want to give the benefit of doubt to the other team but not the thunder you do realize that the mavs literally almost played a perfect game while the thunder played terrible outside of kyrie everyone else played great while shooting almost 50% from 3 while okc shot terrible from 3 and the only person who could consistently score was shai while jdub was off and they only lost by 9 all it would have took would have been okc hitting their 3 at a respectable clip to win this game Any argument you have for the mavs,can be applied to okc y’all just hate on okc due to age last game y’all want to say it was one game but when the mavs win it because they’re the better team the okc hate is crazy

The Cavs are better than people give them credit for being. Granted they're incredibly inconsistent but when they're playing up to potential they're very good. Last night's game didn't even get any sort of ungodly performance out of any of them 29 and 21 from Mitchell and Mobley is not exceptional. 21 from Levert is good but not by that much. And only 14 and 12 from Garland and Strut is low. Both are capable of better. Again the Cavs are inconsistent and this shouldn't be expected out of them every night but they only need three more of these. Totally possible.

The reason as a Celtics fan my brain tells me we won't win a chip is because of the offensive coaching philosophy, we juts chuck 3's. We don't have a curry or klay on this team to do that... I loved Udoka's philosophy... defense and the offense will come around... Nowadays our guys can play defense but for a team to have the length of brown and tatum and height of porzingis and horford and guard defense of white and jrue, this defense is very lack-luster

Only I think that Boston will be able to adjust because of their size and playmaking ability. I think the thunder keep playing Hayward to try and justify the trade. He’s not good anymore and I feel like they would have been better off with the guys they had before the trade
