My favourite musical moment - 1985 and the angst of the age. I saw their name written on the back of a bus seat, I explored, bought Script of the Bridge, then What does it Mean Basically and the love affair has lasted 26 years. This track really is the dogs..... Can't believe I discovered this awsome band on a bus in South Croydon.

The best band ever to slip past the rock music public nearly unnoticed. Who cares? They have left a treasure trove of some of the greatest songs ever recorded. To have not seen them live is the major omission of my concert-going life!

Of all the live versions they've released over the years, this performance at Camden Palace and the versions played here are my favorite. I love playing all along to all their songs and still blast all their songs on my car stereo, especially at night (to me, this is definitive "night music")... The Chameleons rule...

John was a great guy. Very funny. A great friend. A truly great drummer. One review said" the drummer looked like he was trying to beat the kit into a different shape"... He lived for The Chameleons. I miss him so much and was so lucky to.play on the first Red Sided Garter Snakes album with John, Steve Wilson and the great James Muderski from Puressence. Jimmy is my favourite all time vocalist and it was a dream come true. There were other great, talented people who made that an iconic album. Endless Sea. John we all Love you and miss you so much. You was a brother to me ! R.I.P. The Great JohnLever. Xxxx

One of my favorite tunes with The Chameleons. Gives me so many beautiful memories from my twenties. Sitting on the cliffs in my neighbourhood with some of my friends, drinking home made white wine, playing this song on tape recorder! :-)

Sumado a las diferencias creativas y/o problemas personales entre Mark y Dave, no quisieron venderse, aunque suene tonto, esa es una de las razones que ha dado Mark Burgess en una entrevista reciente, no quería perder control creativo, ni estar imbuidos en líos empresariales o algo por el estilo, de hecho, para cuando se separan, ya la Geffen distribuía la edición americana de Strange Times, incluso luego de la disolución del grupo Mark forma The Sun and The Moon, cuyo album es editado por la Geffen, o sea que, realmente de haber continuado hubieran debutado en una disquera transnacional probablemente después de Strange Times hacia 1988 masomenos. La razón definitiva que dan para haberse separado es la muerte del manager Tony Fletcher, que era el que calmaba las aguas entre ellos y mantenía la banda a flote.

I had this on VHS. Some sharp ladies in the crowd. It's on Dvd. They were real good. Them The Sound and Comsat Angels. What a bill that would have been. 80's.

La del pata de blanco, es delay, reverb y chorus, y en algunas partes overdrive, la del de rojo, es overdrive y un ligero flanger.
