"bratty child" i honestly don't see that at all. she wanted to throw a party and invite her friends, but her little brother changed the plans and talked with his friends/classmates (i think without asking or informing her), then he proceed to idk "blackmail" her so he can bring his friends to her party. and well she agreed, but with her condition. then we see that she's sad/mad bcs her friends didn't go to her party. idk, i just don't find her bratty in this scenario. she seems like a normal teen to me idk if she'll make the show better, but i can kinda see her as the character that points what's wrong with her family's behavior and she's part of their character improvement? no, i don't think she needs to be darwin's love interest, i mean it's too late anyway. and i really like her character design! i would've liked to see her now when the artstyle changed

In the second episode of Darwin's Yearbook, it is revealed that she went off to college, explaining her absence from the show after season 1. Rachel is on good terms with all three of the Watterson children.

The irony is Rachel was actually the most likable member of the Wilsons, they are all absolutely terrible. I don't mean "terrible but still loveable" like the Wattersons, they are the absolute worst. Yet Rachel, the one character to have redeeming quality by drawing our sympathy when her friends stood her up and thanked Darwin for helping her, was the one axed. Maybe that was the point, they didn't want any of the Wilsons be likable.

I think the creators didn’t like her and high school so they sent both into the void

Given how self-aware the show is and makes points in later seasons to establish that the world is literally set within a TV show, there's a good opportunity for her to come back and take revenge on the show or staff. Especially with a concept as creative as the Void which we're still expecting to see again. Maybe she could usurp Rob as the final villain or get the show cancelled. I'm at least expecting something REALLY meta in the finale.

Well, The worst part is in "The Points" Episode you can see when the part Gumball and Darwin was doing the chores for tobias in the backround the Family Picture doesn't include Rachel in it.

So, they didn't like here because she was too bratty yet, Gumball is one of their main characters............. I'm not saying he is "bratty" per say but sometimes he can be UGGGGGGGGGGHHH!

She would be my favorite if she was a main character, I love her hair, color scheme, and voice, she would probably be among my favorite characters from CN, but we haven't seen enough of her to truly know what her traits were.
