The Chargers have rebuilt their entire WR room after the departures of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, but it could be worse than LA's young, inexperienced corps. The room has a lot of questions, but a lot of their success will depend on if rookie receiver Ladd McConkey can stay healthy. Dan and David Buy and Sell the biggest Chargers overreactions and storylines including if we will see Joe Hortiz make a splashy in-season trade. The Ravens have never hesitated to improve the roster with trades for Roquan Smith and others midseason, and it wont surprise either host if the make a move in 2024. If that is the case then last year’s chargers receiver room was the worst in the nfl … because after Keenan Allen .. not one of those guys were any good. Mike Williams doesn’t count because he got payed 20 million dollars to play 3 games every year.

2.5 games for Mike Williams , your giving him half of a game ? Same thing happen to Herbert , last years . People have been say he missed 4 games, when it was 4.5 games ? So his stats could have been much better over all & he was on pace for a good season .

Simply put the Q B.and O-line Is going to have the time to help make the reciever corp better than what it really is.same with the R.B. room. Oh yeah, we got a real head coach now

Whether it’s before the season or during I can’t imagine Harbaugh or Minter are going to roll with the current interior Defensive line in 2024. We don’t need a huge name, we just need an above average run stuffer. If we’re constantly in 3rd and short because we can’t shut down the run up the middle then we’re wasting our elite edges

Obviously he's a rookie but i really think people are underestimating Brendan Rice!! Aftercall he was Caleb Williams #1 deep threat , now he's gonna be special!!

Jordan Addison stats got cut in half when he went to USC and had Caleb throwing to him. So maybe Rice is better than he looked, Caleb is a mediocre pocket passer in my opinion.

There are going to be teams with strong, WR rooms that are going to cut players in camp. So, if I were speaking to Joe Hortiz, I'd keep a close, watch on the waiver wire. There should be both, some big names and some high-quality values showing up on it; ready to be plucked-up by an opportunistic team like the Chargers. The same would apply to DL & CB's as well.

First they need to play, then will see, but we got Herbert and a new running game. Ladd is going to be a star!!! Everything he has done in practice, what you hear about him from players, coaches. Johnson is in a better situation with this program and Coaching with staff

If our wr room sucks in our first 4 games even if we go 3-1 or 2-2 i will make a run fior ayuk during our bye. Similar to what cowboys did back in 2018 for amari cooper that changed their whole offense.

Assuming we keep 6 receivers on the roster like most teams (some keep 7 but I highly doubt Harbaugh wants 7) and when you account for special teams, I feel like this is the most complete group: Palmer, Chark, Ladd, Davis, Rice, C Johnson. Notice someone missing? I’m predicting QJ gets traded for a late round pick next year before the end of training camp. Unless of course he makes a major leap, which I’m not predicting.

Chargers aren’t the most experienced WR group right now but not the worst. People just over reacting because we traded Allen and cut Mike. If we being honest we only missing Keenan. Mike was consistently hurt. we had Keenan for 10 yrs and nothing to show for it

The Chargers have the most unproven WR room, I don't think that's debatable. Unproven can equate to worst since we've seen many top drafted receivers fail at the NFL level. Obviously I'm high on McConkey but still... Unproven. Gotta show me first

I also think Hurst and Dissly will improve our passing and blocking game . I’m hoping Brenden Rice makes the team as well. GO CHARGERS!!!!!

Chark had a 1,000 yards his second season in the league, so obviously he has some ability. Perhaps he caught teams by surprise and they figured out how to play him.

This is a Caitlin Clark situation. The Chargers have too many white shiny receivers on their team and of course it is racist. How long do we have to suffer these people? Who the hell did the Chargers have on the field that was healthy last year? The Chargers last year, lost like eight one score games that they could have finished with thirteen wins! And some how they're a worse team this year?

Not an overreaction lol. With Keenan and Mike leaving the only reliable player is Palmer and he is at best mid level WR2. May not be the absolute worst however the team is at the bottom in that regard until proven otherwise.
