Chazz Princeton, otherwise known as “The Chazz” was a spoiled rich kid who believed that he was better than everyone else, but was especially arrogant toward his main rival - Jaden Yuki.
But overtime, and after many humiliating defeats, Chazz realized that it was better to carve out his own path in life rather than relying on his status - Which was a change that brought him out of Jaden's shadow and made him a crowd favorite who constantly received thunderous applause.
So today we’re going to be looking at The Chazz’s most important cards, how they let him Chazz it Up, and whether or not they’d give him 1, 10, 100 or 1000 wins in the actual TCG.

The 1/10/100/1000/10,000 thing is a bit of Japanese wordplay that is lost in translation. In the original Japanese version, he is called Manjoume. In Japanese, the standard honorific people use is "-san," and one of the most common article words is "da." Thus, people tend to address him as "Manjome-san da." "San da" is very similar to how Japanese people pronounce the English word "thunder." "San" is also Japanese for three (hence why he has so many trios in his deck) and "10,000" is often used as an arbitrary "random high number" like how English speakers use "a million." Thus, we get the nickname "Manjoume Thunder" with the catchphrase consisting of "1! 10! 100! 1,000! Manjoume Thunder!" Eventually, it would get an upgrade to 10,000. In English, this was replaced with "The Chazz" and "Chazz it up!" respectively. This is also why the retrained Armed Dragon cards were called "Armed Dragon Thunder" and why Level 10's effects are so different.

The "-san da!" also comes from another cultural thing, with Jaden constantly saying Chazz's name without the -san honorific, prompting a correction from Chazz every time "Manjoume-san da!"

@@tigerwarrior1787 No way, Armed Dragons. Being a rival to Jaden he needs some strong monsters. Not to mention, there's barely any duelist who do Lvl archetype. Yugi Muto did Silent Swordsman & Silent Magician but they barely stayed in his deck for more than 1 episode. Simply just to show off what Magician and Swordsman can do.

I think the next character list should be Kite Tenjo, he has a lot of interesting cards and one in particular im surprised isn’t seeing as much play as it should in the current master duel format since the new support is now out and galaxy players are now very familiar with (spoilers the card I’m talking about was out long before Photon Hypernova was released, who can guess the card?)

I still would love to see this series for the manga versions of the GX series since pretty much every character who was in both the manga and anime had very different decks. For example instead of Alexis having her Saber ritual monster deck from the anime her deck was an ice princess deck. Another example would be for Jaden instead of his ace monster being Elemental Hero Flame Wignman it was Elemental Hero Terra Firma, and instead of Jaden’s new deck being Neo Spacians his new deck was Vision Heroes.

Imagine if it got a "Chthonian" retrain one day. Maybe add some "LIGHT Normal Monster" synergy (so it can theorically work with the VWXYZ / Ojama cards) 17:40 that line would fit more for a Yusei video funny enough 20:18 In Duel Links, it is even searcheable with Chazz's skill 21:34 Is kinda funny GX was basically mocking the concept of "Dueltaining", before ARC-V was even a thing. 29:39 Kinda funny you could make an Armed Dragon / Ojama Deck, but there isn't a retrain that has them, say, An Ojama riding an Armed Dragon, like the "Paladin of" cards

This card would genuinely be extremely powerful and yet probably not used. It's a counter trap so it can't be responded to except by other counter traps. And its effects, ALL OF THEM, are busted. That being said, it's unsearchable by most decks. So it could easily languish in non-usability. And it being a trap, it's also slow.

@@ButFirstHeLitItOnFire depends. If such support ever comes out, there's possibly even better targets to abuse. The solemns especially are Omninegates you can't respond to without another counter trap. But if we ever did get such a thing as a "Counter Trap Labrynth" (essentially an archetype supporting generic counter traps the way Labrynth does with normal traps) then yeah I could see it being used.

I’m so glad DuelLogs differentiates between the anime and the TCG, I get so worried about being sent to the shadow realm or some other supernatural consequence for losing a duel. Cazz it up!

All Ojama Trio needed was "cannot be used for extra deck monsters" and it would be playable. Hek, although the link monsters didn't exist yet when it was released, "cannot be used for ink material" would have been enough as most decks can't do much with a level 3 tuner and a bunch of level 2 nothings and fusion monsters need a spell card to summon unless they are from a broken archetype. Likewise, the fact that they can be used for a ritual summon doesn't hurt them that much since the opponent needs to draw into the card.

Iv been using this deck to get some nice wins against some actual decks, however it just needs a fews things. A wishlist of Chazz if you will; Remake: VW and possibly X Vanilla Ojama trio Ojamuscle (doesnt work with onama king zone lock.) Wishlist: Ojama fusion Ojama link 1 or 2 monster Ojama boss monster protection More armed dragon support. 2 armed dragon lightnings dont stack and ojama pajama is usually better. Also any ojama spell recovery would be nice. And giving out the 4 armed dragon thunder lv 10 effects to the lower ones to have would be nice. Not worrying about enemy controller with lv 5 would be nice The minute you get passed the Max C/Ash Blossom game, this deck can actually tear the field up. I recommend double ABC rather than vanilla ojama trio for consistency since it gives you more unions and less vanilla ojamas

chazz is a role model. one of the better ones. he starts off mean and clumsy- and by acknowledging and accepting himself he becomes an absolute powerhouse. i like him for the same reason i like yusei fudo; he has to squeeze every bit of positive momentum from scrap he can and eventually the term "trash" becomes relative.

To be fair to Chazz, given Aster's ambiguous instructions to him while he was filling his place, he might have been under the impression that his job was to do everything the producer said.

Funnily enough, White Veil saw a fair amount of play in Duel Links not because it was good, but because when you reached King of Games status you had nothing to play for but Konami still tried to encourage people to play a specific number of times per day for certain rewards and surrenders did not count. Therefore, for a while White Veil was very common to see in King of Games duels because it could burn you for 3000 LP damage. And with a starting LP of 4000 all you needed was one more card like Cosmic Cyclone (which you could use on White Veil) and you had yourself a nice quick way to lose, often before your opponent even had a turn. You get the rewards of PVP dueling without having to sit and watch your opponent going through long combos.

Ah Chaos Necromancer, in the earrrrly days of Duel Links I terrorized my friend with a 30 (or 37 with one of Jesse's skills) card deck of 3x Chaos Necromancer, 3x Magical Merchant, 1 Monster Reincarnation and the rest stuffed with mainly recruiters such as Bubonic Vermin to stall. It was definitely on of the decks of all time.

It's funny how he was talking about hidden utilities for cards because Spirit sculptor comes to mind. It can be really useful in branded bystial decks because all of the base bystial monsters have the same atk and def making them all targets to be searched out and you can even proc the effects of Druiswurm and Saronir. Plus all of the Virtuous tuners have a value of 3000 so you can tribute one to search out Chaos Dragon Levioneer or Danger Bigfoot

Unrelated to this video series, but hear some of my ideas for The Unknown Side: 1. Mathmechs (no-brainer, explain how the various cards of the archetype represent their namesake math terms). 2. Ancient Warriors and their inspiration, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. 3. Brotherhood of the Fire Fist, Fire formation and their inspiration, Water Margin. 4. Gladiator Beasts and their inspirations. P.S. Hopefully the next worst classic cards video won't take as long as the previous one lol

That 0 attack monster also boost tri heart, give tri heart confident to OTK opponent with the fellow 0 monster attack, in scareclaw deck.

Ok i must be honest,i never looked actually close on the Chaos Necromancer,only from the Distancen,and i actually thought that the 2 ghouls/Zombies he controll was his legs😂😂😂

Chazz/Manjoume is my favorite rival and strong contender for my favorite character overall in the series (tho Luke from what little I've seen of SEVENS might be coming for his crown) and I'm so happy to see him get his due here. One of the best and most unique journeys any character has ever had and I wish more rival characters would take after him and not just be yet another boring Kaiba clone with zero personality like his overrated manga counterpart.
