I brought my copics to school for a project, and I told my partners not to mess around with them because they are worth a lot, and they were being super super careful and their coloring still wasn't too great As a person who drew digital art without a tablet for years and years, I can definitely confirm that better supplies does not necessarily mean better art (my channel icon is an example of digital art I've made with a touchpad)

JelloTon yeah.. I started out with using just a pencil and eraser, I didn't use my crayons on them. Then when I got a lot better then drawing noodles I got some copics and pens. I'm still afraid I'll ruin my drawings by coloring them. XD

The problem with compasses is they both leave a hole where the center was, and they're not easy to use. I was trained for 10 months on how to use them, and I still struggle. But in all seriousness, I'm not terrible at art. I use hyperbole for satirical purposes.

True. I used to think that, and ended up spending a ton on Microns and Copics in hopes that it'd make me better. in truth, I could barely use either properly. I've had them stored away for months and used Marco Raffine colored pencils and writing pens for inking. I've since grown a lot as an artist, and plan to purchase Prismacolor pencils (I've used a few before, loved them, and figured out how to get past the quality control issues) and start using my Microns again in the future. And hey, I'll also expand my Copic collection one marker at a time now, and learn how to use them.

Don't give up man, he has clearly been doing this for quite some time. He also said in one of his previous videos, I think, that he went to art school. If you really enjoy drawing then don't give up and eventually you'll reach your goals.

if you like doing art then you shouldn't give it up just because you think someone elses art looks better, they've probably had a lot of time to practice and improve their art to make it as good as it is, so if you keep practicing and working hard your art will improve and you can become a great artist as well, don't compare yourself to others because as humans we naturally look down on ourselves and think of things as a contest. but art isn't a contest, it's not a competition to see who can make the best art with the most likes, that doesn't matter. art is a way of expressing yourself and you shouldn't feel like you aren't good at it, just because it looks bad at the moment. i promise that if you keep working and trying to improve your art then you will get better, even if you don't think so at the time you can look back at your old art and think, 'wow that was bad,' then you look to your new art and it's so much better than your old art because you tried, and you kept trying, and you didn't give up. so don't let anyone or anything discourage you from making art, not even yourself.

in my school one part (three giant walls) was totally covered in graffitti that art kids did. It was really awesome, we used to play color-related games there, but they decided they have to paint it in yellow and now its just, boring.. everyone hates it
