ESP: electronic skid protection. Its copied from full size cars. The ESP, as well as any other gyro tech like TSM, ETC, all require you to play with the levels to get em where you want em. If its too high itll speed wobble since its overcorrecting, if its too low it can spin out easier. I suggest turning it all the way up, then going down until it stops speed wobbling. Should work pretty well after that. From what I can see its functioning absolutely normally for an rc car gyro, just tune the levels and you'll love it. Itll basically drift itself.

Great fun video. As always. One thing (excuse the pun) you have drifted away from like the last P-47 aircraft one is the real close up of say the radio and then to the internals of the craft etc and say what LiPo batteries are in use. You are my 'go to' reviewers of choice. So things like "can I use my existing batteries" are important. Goods in the UK are usually more than you pay for them in dollars! But, you two are just great and your content production amazes me. ❤.

Mine just arrived! It wasn't supposed to be here til the 16th but its here! My first RC actually; happy to see it uses 18650 Li-Ion's because LiPo's are scary (any battery you have to put in a fire bag is scary :P) - Still need to be around whilst it charges; but as a beginner that made me feel happier. Neat little car so far!

Channel 4 is actually the speed limiter in which u can set it to 50%, 75% or 100%... i think u guys had it on 50% in the video... I have this RC as well and it's fast!

I have one, its well worth the money, super fast and fun for all ages and won't break the bank, skip Walmart and target this Xmas lol.

Cool for the price. I love cold weather. I’m waiting for an apartment to open on the oregon coast, it’s around 50 all year with 30 to 90mph winds. I love that.

I have the 1603 bought it brushed and bought the kit to make it brushless and they have metal diff crown gear and pinion on Amazon for these now

Whoa...small

I'm rather surprised it didn't die. The one I have cooks ESCs before the battery is even at 50%. ZERO customer support. Each time it's $25 for the ESC which is only available as the factory brushless upgrade kit so yes, I have replaced the motor as well to see if that is the problem. Mind you I last drove it at around 65 degrees with a brand new ESC and it fried it in 20 minutes. The ESP (Electronic Stability Control) on these cars is basically on overdrive if turned up above 50% with the rubber tires. It's just a complete mess at that point.

Drifting is what started me in RC and still my favorite. It is very challenging. I don't know how their esp works, but I have aftermarket drift gyro's installed on a few of my cars and they work flawlessly,10 years later I have 6 cars including a 1/8 drift car and 4 trucks including a 1/5, 3 crawlers,1/8th scale with 4 wheel steer, 5 helicopters and 3 planes. Would have more but I'm running out of room. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.

Looks good, drifts with or without help. Like the lights. Abby you need to carry extra sweaters as backup. Though a loose knit will Not keep you warm. Crying from the cold😬🥶. How can you beat these , 80 to 120 bucks with lights , I may buy just to use the lights in full size infraction, only thing that sucks is brushed ones you can't reuse the remote if you upgrade , oh and batteries too unbelievable.

It’s wiggling it’s butt like a fish out of water 😂. I think the gyro needs to be calibrated on a flat surface outside the truck. Or they could just try to re label it as a special feature 😂. The “show me what you’re working with “ feature 😂. Way more people are talking about the maverick quantum R & that’s still a small amount of people.

what if you put normal tires on the front and drift tires in the back for more drift control

Got mines 2 days ago. It will stall out alot before gunning off. The wheels are off even after you adjust it. The rc goes pretty in circles. Waiting for banggood to take it back but they keep asking for more proof. Starting to not like banggood customer service.
