chop chey was one of my favorite meals after leaving the bars when I was at Osan in the 80's, it was cheap tasty and filled you up.

The tofu soup is 청국장 (fermented soybean stew) and yes, it has strong pungent smell.

OMG! That pork belly looks so amazing! What did not look so amazing was all you can eat buffet, but I would definitely try it. Looking forward to our next video from Seoul Raina.

There’s soup and seaweed soup they use fish for the broth. That’s why it’s pungent smell😮

The grilled pork you bought on the street on your way back to your hotel is Pork Shoulder & Neck meat , not Pork Belly😉😉

Sometimes cheap food can be great and sometimes not. Just like expensive food can be great or not. I love Buffets but sometimes the food isn't that fresh. I think a secret is to get there when you know they first open cause then the food will be fresher. In South Korea if you want a site to see is a park called Haesindang and it consists of nothing but Pen*ses. Seriously. lol. It's mostly statues but also has benches and other things. lol Glad you're having fun in Korea. You should go back during Cherry Blossom season, it's something very impressive.

There are many many many cheap $3-5 restaurants you can go to in Seoul and other places in Korea who have food many Michelin star restaurants are jealous of. You just weren't that lucky with your pick of restaurant. You should hookup with Woongei. He can show you where to go.

I love how Raina is completely honest about the food she eats. I definitely feel like she has a different opinion about what she gets. Watching her and then others I definitely feel like Raina has tastebuds closer to my own. Not that I will ever be able to go there but it does give me a idea about Asian food and what I would get here.

I don't really trust non korean people to judge Korean food in Korea..lol. This place looks bomb to me and all the side dishes/pork belly look perfect. I love the pungent soy bean paste stew also but I'm Korean and that is a staple to us. You aren't Korean so to give these dishes like a 4 or 6 is funny because how do you know what authentic korean food is supposed to taste like? lol
