Thanks for watching! UPDATE - I've fixed the creaking noise, it was the chain hitting against the chain guard when pedaling (I've removed the guard and it's eliminated the noise completely).

To anyone wanting one of these but is worried about the recommended height cut off as I was don't worry too much about it. I'm 6ft and have not found it to be an issue at all! I'd say its only a concern to anyone around 6"3 and up. Extremely fun ride, the only downside at all is that the firm seat combined with the lack of suspension can make long rides a little rough on the ol' posterior. Still overall an excellent and really fun bike!

My ZX arrived a week ago and I love it! Being a motorcycle rider usually it was nice to have the wide tyres!

I am from California and I love some of the feature enrichments this bike has in the UK. I have two American versions (Z1), love the added lights, power modes and the pedal assist. It caps at 20mph here, but downhill over 25mph. I also removed the mechanical brakes and added hydraulic brakes. Huge difference. I have the RX bike too and the 4 piston hydraulic brakes are amazing. This should be standard across any bike. I also just ordered the ZX Moon Rock edition. Looking forward to this bike too. First upgrade will be the hydraulic brakes no doubt. Really cool seeing the UK counterpart.

Fascinating review - thanks for explaining the legalities of these in the UK and exactly how the motor works in conjunction with the rider pedalling. There are lots of reviews of these, but not all of them go into detail about how the bike actually functions. Very neat machine, and I am tempted.

You can adjust suspension by regulating the pressure in the tyres. Makes a massive difference

It could be the frame creaking, but it could also be under tensioned spokes. It looks pretty good

Anyone watching this review - don't get the zg or zx, on paper they're a lot cheaper than the S2 or RX but everyone who buys a zg and zx seems to end up spending just as much as an S2 would cost on upgrading the bike to the S2's level because the zg and zx just aren't good enough overall, I started with the intention of buying a zg then after watching a few more reviews I thought the zx would be suitable but after loads of research I settled on buying the S2 and I know for a fact if I'd bought the zg or zx I would of regretted it, of course the RX is nice but it doesn't offer anything more than the S2 other than mid suspension - the rest of the bike is the same. Had my S2 now for 3 months and done 400 miles and I cant get on it enough, absolutely in love with it.

If this is the future of electric bikes I'm in. Love it ☺️

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzfaq.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

The #1 reason keeping me from buying this is the frame size, it's too small. Because you still have to pedal it, you don't want your knees in your mouth. Where they smarter, they would move the pedals more forward. That way you can have a low look, but be able to pedal. I'd also add a Bosch CX Performance Line hub motor + 750Wh battery.

You said in video that having a throttle on Electric bikes is illegal in the UK but they are not Illegal. You can buy these bikes that come with throttles and are entitled to use. I know this vid was posted in 2021. I believe they changed the frame from steel to aluminium

Is that sound coming from where the fork meets the steerer? I had a similar thing on my bike, if that's the case it's possible that the connection between your fork and steerer is not the correct tightness and or sufficiently lubricated. I've got a steel bike and had that noise I had to adjust the tension of the lock nut and the crown a bit (though be careful with the crown in particular) to rid myself of incessant creaking. If you hear it when you turn the handle bars it's likely the steerer however there's also a chance it's elsewhere. I'd take the time to hunt down the creak though, as that's often a sign of not quite up to snuff assembly, something might be loose and get damaged overtime. A good bike mechanic can probably solve that issue for you as well, I'd take it into a shop for a once over frankly. I kinda fuck around with my own bike a lot but I'm by no means a professional. It's been fine and I've done some pretty gnarly things on it, but you don't want it falling apart on you going 25k
