Change up to a Suspension Seat Post and a 52 tooth front sprocket.. Good to go.. Maybe an 11-34 tooth rear set.

@@TailHappyTV Thanks! I need to keep an eye out for Dutch laws and regulations. As our cityroads are way smaller we´re not allowed more than 250W motors. So, the Wing looks like the perfect one to ger away with a bit more power without drawing too much attention. And I´ll make sure to look up your links when the time is there 🙂

A bottom bracket torque sensor gives you instantaneous values for the controller to use where cadence sensors have to figure out that you're actually pedaling first then give a calculated value to the controller so there will always be latency in power matching for pedal assist. It feels your pedaling power directly from the cranks instead of having to derive a power value from secondary effects then deliver it. The tightest control feedback loop is the one that doesn't exist.

The jasion eb5 is the prototype to that with all the same features. Jasion is an heybike subsidiary. As a name brand bike you don't have to jailbreak it but you can make it do anything including using your motor to slow down so you never have to brake. The if or of the torque sensor and the pedal can be fixed if you nail break it.

How difficult was it to fix the break rubbing. I have never worked on bikes, but I have tried adjusting the front breaks and it seems the caliper is impossible to secure to the frame without it pulling the pad into the rotor.

I got the CityRun, and I sure wish I had gotten the Sola instead. The handle bar and battery postion both are terrible to work with on the CityRun. But the biggest problem I have with the CityRun is the fact that when you turn the bike OFF, it is NOT LOCKED! All you have to do is press the power button to turn it back ON. There is no provision to actually turn off the battery power.

follow up. I sold the CityRun and got a Sola. I really like the lighter weight and the torque drive. Still has the same problem with the App, (no way to shut-off the power. The key does not "lock" the bike or turn off power. All the key does is let you take the battery off the bike.

Can you explain the voltage on the bike and the chart you are using? I just bought city run and it seems the false indicator is common in the videos I have watched for this company. City run will be my first bike in 20 years and first e-bike. TY

Volts % 54.6v is 100% ⚡️ 😃 53.8 95% 53.0 90% 52.3 51.5 50.7. 75% 49.9 49.1 48.4 47.6 46.8 50% 46.0 45.2 44.5 43.7 42.9. 25% 42.1 41.3 40.6 39.8 39.0. Dead battery 0% 💀 ☠️ This is for a 48v battery system. 48v is basically half charged and fluctuates plus and minus 7v from full to empty. If your bike shows a voltage read out in the settings you can get a good picture of the actual range. The bar charts are just an interpretation of the voltage readout. Some bikes show the actual volt readout, others give you an interpretation in a percentage bar or such…. Which may or may not be accurate

@@Hmmtskas I understand it it means that if you are using peddle assistance at all where the motor is making peddling easier you can not use the throttle so you have to keep peddling to keep going. You would have to manually turn off pedal assist before using the throttle. Though I heard rumors that they updated this specific bike so you can now use the throttle while using peddle assistance

I have a Ride Scoozy Torque 1. 35 lbs. 50+ mile range. Looks amazing. Battery is hidden. Paid $799… I don’t think they sell it anymore..

I have the cheapest E Bike. Hyper E Ride City. $450 on sale last year from Walmart. 250 watt direct drive 700x35C tires removable battery. Pedal assist only. And I have replaced all the drive components except the crank that’s next. Both wheels. The back wheel twice and once I replaced all the spokes in the back wheel. All 28 replaced with Champion e bike spokes because they started snapping at just 250 miles. Now at 5,171 miles over the last year it just needs a new crank and it’s all new. But you can send me one of your E Bikes. Them over a thousand dollar bikes are out of price range for my budget but I’d sure appreciate it

Does the tail light work as a brake light? What would happen if a 350 pound man were to try to ride it? Would the frame break?

Tail light is not integrated to the system electronics so it does not work as a brake light. The frame may fatigue more over time with more weight, the link below the video shows the max recommended weight. You may want to consider a fat tire ebike like the troxus or the velotric nomad 1 I reviewed fow more weight capacity

being a 235lb guy I can tell you that if you can get a good regen braking set up it will save you a lot of trouble with your brakes. Most bike brakes aren't able to do a lot of work for even me before they fade out - I don't want regen for range extension (although that's a great bonus) but more because I live in a hilly area and 1500ft descents are not uncommon and in traffic having strong brakes when you're coming down with no bailouts is paramount. At 350lbs you will 100% have to check tire ratings - I found in my EUC (electric unicycles, I have 4 wheels of different sizes) experiences that the spec'd load limit of the wheel is invariably linked to the load rating of the tire used. Most frames are made of tube steel at this price point, it's probably strong enough but the components assuredly are not. There's nobody that will offer anything that runs well with people over 200lbs and/or disabled for less than at least 4k USD, and usually substantially more for something that is actually suitable and will last us people who are larger under moderate to heavy use.

Im sorry I have an eventon with a ts and a zugo rhino with a cs the torque sensor sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!you have to peddle at least three full cranks for it to engage candice is way more responsive

Dang, that is an awful response time. Perhaps you can change it is the settings? Are you sure it’s not a cadence sensor?

You need a bike with a *bottom bracket* torque sensor, or if that is what you have then you might need to update/flash the firmware in your controller if you can't get it to understand that you want it to use the torque sensor. From what you're describing, it seems to have swapped the cadence and torque sensor settings in firmware, which they probably fixed *really fast* because it would make everyone angry and disappointed. Check your firmware or send their support an email asking why the two modes are swapped on the bike that you got. Maybe there's just a simple wire swap on the back of the controller - they could have swapped the wires (they are different wires) plugged into your controller during assembly which means the modes are swapped in *hardware* so always look for a mis-plugged wire because that's the easiest problem to solve. Actually I'm 99% sure now that it's a swapped connection bc that's *exactly* how it would behave.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzfaq.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

The Heybike Sola literally costs 3 times more money than the bike I use which got me 50 miles one time so the Heybike Sola is certainly NOT the “cheapest” and is NOT a “cheap” bike. You’ll most likely get scammed buying the Heybike Sola.
