Thanks for a great review. I have this folder in m390 and it is just great. I would say it is comparable with shirogorov f95 in terms of design, although the f95 packs even more cutting edge in the same overall size.

A lot of Maxace's early design language felt like an evolution of the Russian style that you alluded to. Thats what initially drew me to them. They've now taken a head first leap into the absurd, which has its own following so i cant fault them, but they haven't released much that appeals to me lately. Why am i talking about Maxace on a Cheburkov video? Because i had a decent collection of Cheburkov's at one point, but sold all of them once Maxace came out with the Amber and Killer Whale. I still have a Bear in s125v, but thats gone as soon as i find a Harsey designed Fantoni in s125v (HAHAHAHAH).

Same. Maxace had me interested with the same designs. Never did a Video though on Maxace, which i kind of regret. They had/have some killer prices on some of their knives. Thats how it works, they come and go. Not all of them but a lot of them. I have been looking at Fantoni knives close to a decade, never bought one though. Are they still in production?
