6 years later I’m still coming back to this. Like Letterman I was blown away by how powerful it is. Amazing song, amazing performance.

and 10 years later i'm still coming back to this. "holy crap!" indeed. i love how he was being so cool w letterman's enthusiasm and then at the very end allows a tiny smile. it was such a great thing when letterman was blown away by bands. remember his reaction to future islands' sam herring?!

@@beckywillard3488 Yes. That was an awesome performance as well. Not so much because of the music itself, though it is a great song, but his immersion, passion and sincerity was so moving and engaging - I watch that now and then too. In fact I’ll go watch it again now. Thanks for reminding me 🙂

Amazing. I'm confident that the watching of this episode will long be a memory for many as this band soars to the top for a long and very successful career. They're just too damn good to not! You just don't see bands of this caliber show up very often in a decade.

I'm kicking myself because I only just now found out that Your Vegas basically changed their name to The Chevin and put out a new album. I've been wondering for almost 10 years when Your Vegas would put out a new album. 5 years late to the party for goodness sake. Finally found them again! I did already know this song though, I think it's from before they changed their name.

I happened to be flipping channels and here they are on Letterman; 1st time seeing them... - could immediately tell they will be great; the next Coldplay! I think they're the greatest - SO WHY AREN'T THE CHEVIN BIGGER? Only 1 album...can't wait for MORE from them. the Kooks have a couple good songs too - these CHEVIN guys - every song is great!
