Historically they have done very well, of course reality always sets in at some point but Corvettes have among the lowest depreciation amongst all cars. Have a look at what the C6 Z06s are going for, still holding up quite well with good reason. 🙂

Ive been tuned into the car market ever since i was a kid. I don’t think the trading value of this car will fall below 120k ever, and here is my reasoning. The next generation corvette will most likely be electric, if we even get a c9. We typically get around 6-10 years for every vette generation. With this being the first mid engine and the first hybrid corvette generation, we can likely expect at least 10-12 years for c8. The next badass c8 will be very expensive and out of reach of an even larger part of this country. The c8 z06 corevette will be the last “attainable” American super sports car with an ICE ever built. How would c9 top this? In a world of smaller engines, turbos, and ev’s??

@@ShadyGrady3 I'm here because Jeff's reviews are awesome. it's an absolutely hideous cockpit. The Corvette is great as far as performance and value, and the C8 exterior doesn't look too bad. But the dashboard can go straight back to the drawing board.

I know, trust me I'm working on one - Car is fully disassembled, it's time to start bolting stuff back on - I think I'm going to tackle the wiring first. It's just been WAY too hot for proper motivation, plus some work travel. BUT my plan is to shoot something with it this weekend. Even if it's just an IG reel or a YT Short, but hopefully a longer format video.

The base C8 w/Z51 pkg runs 2.9 0-60, an 11.2 /122 1/4 mile , tops out over 190, handles better than, stops shorter than, and turns faster laps than many supercars. Hardly mediocre
