While most tall buildings look alike, the Chrysler is stunningly unique. Van Alen’s masterpiece still impresses eighty years later!

It's still a most iconic feature of NYC. And perhaps just as Iconic as the Empire State.

Yes I agree. Did you know that the Cloud Club at the top of the building is being restored and will reopen as part of the latest renovations?

@@TyChee No I didn't know that, but happy to hear it! I always felt it a shame they didn't preserve the room for future use or even tours. I hope the decor is in keeping with the original. Thanks for the info buddy!

Ty, another great, informative, and well researched presentation on this art deco wonder. Your soothing narration also ads to the quality of your video! I would love to go back in time and visit the observation deck with it's beautiful Saturn shaped light fixtures. I hope those were saved!

Thank you. It looks like your wish is coming true. The Chrysler Building's Observation deck and the Cloud Club restaurant are scheduled to reopen as early as late this year. I'm looking forward to being able to visit that renovated space as soon as it opens.

I think the Chrysler building is located on 405 Lexington Avenue in NYC!

I think the Chrysler building has a distinctive art deco architecture and it was completed in 1930!

I think the Chrysler Building will always be a classic in the NYC skyline. It will always be one of my favorites.

@@pm110978 Hi Paul. It used to have one but once the Empire State Building was completed it fell out of favor and was closed…. However, there is some good news. I was there a few weeks ago and there was as sign on the building saying that the observation deck is coming back as part of a new renovation. It think it’s supposed to open sometime in 2022. You can be sure I will be first in line.
