Could not agree more On my only visit to NewYork I went into the lobby and admired the elevator doors. I wish you could take a elevator to the top.

Dont care what anyone says - The Chrysler Building, despite being small next to the ESB and newer NYC skyscrapers, is the most beautifully designed, most majestic, and most art deco perfect skyscraper in the world. One day, when this shitty pandemic is over, i will resume my dream to get to NYC where the Chrysler Building will be one of the greatest things i will ever see. One Vanderbuilt has been built purely so i can look upon the Chrysler Buildings' pinnacle from an awesome angle :)

I agree the Chrysler Building is truly unique. There's no building quite like it, and that's why it's so popular with everyone. I'm with you, I can't wait to visit One Vanderbilt too. The pictures from their observation deck look amazing.

Did you end up going? It blows me away every time I see it and I just came back from a trip where I stayed 3 blocks away from it.

There are a lot of magnificent buildings to see in New York, and certainly the top three would be: the Chrysler Building; the Empire State Building; and the All in the Family house in Queens

I like to visit skyscrapers, but why people never think about to build an intellectual modern district ( also keep the local school, learning resource, education program, museums, marketplace and shopping mall, resident house for upgrade ? The Victoria houses are the beautiful and famous structures in SF, this special artictecturhe design should be keep ( but inner electrical system can fix by use indoor solar battery to design and run the water and power) instead of chasing for target on one building and if benefits the whole town community and lifting up the economic in one city that will be wonderful. The nature parks and ocean sightseeing locations can add in tutorial center and dining/ shopping/ history learning spaces (SF has been built it.. just some were closed down and services area and certain places are too old or never used like a waste land spot)

Just gonna say it, I always thought the Chrysler building was the Empire State building but not vice versa. I didn’t even know what the real one was. Has anyone else ever done that?
