Yes. Last time I saw my mother was at a cousins wedding. She came from a different state. I had been ignoring her calls and texts. When I got to the wedding she immediately pulled me away from the others and asked what was going on. I just fell apart. Laid my head in her lap and sobbed “I’m so tired... I’m just so so so tired”

I had stage 4 cancer a year ago, I listened to this song every night and cried myself to sleep. I was scared and didn't know if i was going to make it through, but I have so far. This song means a lot to me, and i listen to it when i need to take a step back to humble myself and be thankful for what i have.

The past fills me with regrets beyond redemption, the future has been crush and at best bleak. Never though about actually someone to being able like an open book, wide eyes with life and ecstasy, who show so much effort. And I killed it.. with my own ego. So much I should have done but it was always later or tomorrow in my mind..I took her for granted and I can't even swallow the saliva in my mouth realising tomorrow is no longer an option. The pain, the regrets, the mischances..I truly hope no one they go through this..

My dad was diagnosed with dementia last year. This song reminded me of the hard work that he had to build a house for us. But he made so much more than that, he built a home, where me, my sister and my mother felt safe. This song made me cry so many times, because he was our best friend and now he´s no longer the same person. But we are here for him, trying to do what he always did for us. We try to make him happy and safe and make him feel that he´s not alone.

My dad died two weeks ago, a few days after we discovered he had terminal cancer. The pain is so deep, I feel my heart physically aches. I want to hug him again, I would do anything just for another hug or call. Dad I’ll miss you until my last breath. Thank you for loving like nobody could. I felt everything you said. It's been 6 years for me losing my Dad. We too found out he had terminal cancer 16 days before he passed away. I lost my brother the year before that and I thought I wasn't ok. Losing my dad raised another level of pain that l didn't know I could feel. He was/is my best friend and my person. I miss him dearly still today 💙

This is me and my Son’s song. I battled against a whole lot of odds to get a home for us. He’s 15 now and I’m starting piano lessons so I can play this for him one day when he’s older. I used to play it to him when he was little and couldn’t sleep. He still remembers it now ❤️

My father once worked with a man who would always respond to the question “ how was your day?” with the most positive reply. He would answer “ well, God allowed my feet hit the floor this morning.. so it’ll be a good day” I believe we need to live our lives each and every day by this mindset. Commenting because I remember on the verge of suicide but I’ve found the only source of help and I want you to get the help you need! Society says "if you don't act like this or look like this you are lower”, Jesus shows "all the broken, lost, depressed, hurt, outcast, bullied, come to me and I will give you rest for your souls” People will tell you “you are fine” no, you are broken and lost and you need help from the only one that can literally do anything. Maybe you are feeling just numb and hopeless, just dead inside (spiritually dead), just a walking breathing corpse, what’s the point? There is only 1 person who can help you, and you don’t have to try to earn His love, you can come to Him in all your mess, and this person knows the worst about you yet loved you the most to die for you, His name, Jesus. He offers to make you new, you can have a new beginning, a new heart, 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” I’ve been saved and changed and I want you to be, and yeah I admit before I was a Christian I hated God and religion, didn’t care I was stealing cars and bikes, self brutalizing, beating people up, and so on…. yet God saved me and changed me and I just am going through the comments and I want you to give up trying to do this yourself, give up running away from God and run to God, its a free gift! ✞ The best news ever is contained in this message. My ex girlfriend dedicated this music to me, well to us, the first time i listen to it we were using watch2gether, because we were far away, I'm from Italy and she was from Germany, we had a long distance relationship, but a the end, it didn't work, we broke up after 1 year, and in april we split up. This song. Feels like home. Back in high school I first heard this song and thought it was so cottage style. The kind of music you hear when you’ve lived your very best at life and you sit in a chair at home remembering all the wonderful memories. Years passed for me and here I am working on my cabin thinking just how crazy life can turn. When I was younger my dad was abusive and i been threw a lot in my life, losing my best friend because of a car crash, have been kicked out of a friend group and thought my life was over, thought of killing my self many times, parents who hate each other, and much more. This song has helped me. As a dancer, I dance to this and cry, and think of how my life has been horrible, and then when the climax of the song hits, I think of how when I grow older I will build a home, and raise a family and kids, and make sure that they don't have to suffer the things I have, and make sure that they have an amazing life. This life has taught me to be better than my parents were, to raise a kid the right way, and that our lives could be so much better if we would just do things the right way. My husband married me and carried me during the height of my illness and helped me as I healed. Not only did he take care of me, he took on being a father to my 12 year old daughter at the time with no hesitation. He built this house up. My husband died 5 months ago in a head on collision and our 6 month old baby boy survived. This is a beautiful song that really speaks to me.

I remember about 5 years ago I tried taking my life and I remember waking up in hospital with my family there and a nurse and when I woke up I just started crying saying why didn’t you let me go I want to die let me be and my mum looked at me and said because I love you we love you and we all need you and you may think time is hard but we will get through this together and since then I may of had 3 more attempts but each time I learned that one more person actually cared about me I’m now 17 and I’m in my dream school ready to reach my dream goal of being a paramedic and I’m so glad I held on a bit longer if you ever need anything I’m here Edit: Thank you guys for the likes and support it means a lot to me xx

i'm reading through most of the comments, yours is the one that made me cry. i don't know you at all.. but i am so proud that you chose to hold on and fight for a bit longer...so proud that you are on your way to fulfilling your dream. i hope it is everything you ever wanted and if for whatever reason its not, you can always change direction. I used to love & adore this song years & years ago. I was getting abused at home & felt like my life was basically over. I couldnt see a future for myself at all, and thought I would die before I reached my senior year of high school. I am now 24. Though there are still struggles, I have felt myself rise above them all. I truly feel at my most happiest, and am so happy to live day to day. If you ever think its not possible, it definitely is. This year, met a girl, I've only known her for a few months, she came to my school in the middle of the school year, we clicked, she started hanging out with my friend group, we would talk often, she played with my hair in class, she sat on my lap at lunch, we even did the pocky challenge with a veggie straw, it sounds just like stupid teen stuff but it meant the world to me, because weather she knew it or not, our lips brushed together for just a second, this girl means the world to me, and she doesn't even know it. Someone close to me shared this song with me. He is hoping to learn it on piano. I heard it weeks ago, and I cried the first time. For some reason, I decided to revisit it today. February 4, 2024. Again, I am crying. It is both beautiful and poignant. But it is exactly as it says "home is a place where one should never feel alone." I hope Baby Blue learns this on piano, so I can hear it one day.

I love this song for the pure fact that I can feel sad. I have a weird thing that sadness makes me feel like I am a person. Making myself depressed helps me feel alive for some reason

you are not alone my friend, I always thought I am the only person, who sometimes needs to be sad or cry to feel alive. To feel like being here, being real, not being nothing. Sometimes I need to be sad and feel pain and cry, so this endless emptiness will go away. I feel this emptiness in my heart, in my whole body, in my soul. Just in my head are always so many thoughs, I try to not think about everything so much.. For me I learned when you are crying you are alive, you are letting it all out.

I felt this way for the longest. I wish I could say it’s something you just grow out of. The truth is that you don’t. It’s exhausting to have all you need and still wish you could go to sleep and never wake up. It feels like life is nipping at your very soul. All of you is just drained and tired. I definitely know how it feels. It may seem hard but you have to fight against this weight you feel. I turned to God and even then I felt this bone deep exhaustion. You have to find your reason to want to feel better. Force yourself to step out of your comfort zone. To change what you do. It won’t be easy but day after day there will be some change. And someday you’ll be able to go through an entire day without wishing for blissful sleep. Then eventually a week, then forever. It may feel like you’re weighed down by this sadness you have no control over. Trust me by taking it one day at a time. The days of depression will be far outweighed by the days of regular routine and the will to be alive. I’m rooting for you if no one else!
