I tried so damned desperately to pick the most unlikely of all cards, and he nailed the SEVEN OF DIAMONDS. I can't wait to see the rest of this video. And the coin trick following has an incredible impact. I plan on adding it to my inventory. -Marvin

If you're worried about that you can always start it off yourself and draw a triangle and a circle, say, then ask for some more shapes.

Typically, triangle, circle, and square the the shapes people think of when you tell them geometrical shapes

I was thinking about the problem that when you give back the coins the could see that you've drawn 2 circles on the coin. In the end you showed a "trick" when you changed it back but it might be a little bit harder to do and also suspicious. It works, i tried it out, but for those who are aware of being caught, and for those who have cocky friends: you can use the old method when you make predictions and you place them in/onto different postitions/locations. For example you can have a "end: circle" in your backpocket, "triangle" in your left front pocket and so on. So whatever bacame the last one, you know where to find that exact prediction.. it might be riskier, because they can name whichever shape they want and since you wont have 20 pockets (especially when summer is coming :DD) you can fuck up. But to solve this you can be like: "Okay, so lets name a few shapes, like circle, triangle, square etc. And you can tell them which coin do they want you to draw the shape on. "Oh! This one? You want me to draw the circle on this one? Sure.. And where do you want me to draw the square?" Etc.. it may not be that cool as his, but hey :D you gotta do what you gotta do

You could write the shapes in dry erase marker so that when the last coin is the circle, you pick it up and erase the unseen side. That way, you come off clean and you can had them the coin for checking it. An excuse to use an expo marker would be so that you don't ruin the coins.

But… to the spectator, that is their coin, which you have now drawn on both sides of. If you give it back to them, they see both sides are drawn on, and the trick cost you 20p. If you don't, it looks like you've robbed the spectator. Help?

FlamingYeti You're damn really right I got the trick without even watching the tutorial afterwards but that's a decent question, I guess you could find a pen that rubs out when rubbed on and rub it off with your fingers at the end, guess that'l cost you 20p but if you do it with 10 or 5p coins it's not that much of a big deal.

It also occurred to me that the spectators might want their money back. One possibility that occurred to me that also lets you clean up: at the end of the trick, kindly offer them five nice new clean 20p pieces to replace the ones that you've marked up. Maybe say you'll clean the others up later, or make a joke about how every time you do that trick, it costs you 100p. Pull the replacements out of a pocket, swap them for the others, put them away, and you've ditched the double-circle coin along with the others.

When I do this trick I have a second coin with only one circle on it that I swap out when showing the prediction. I pass the envelope to the crowd and switch the coins. Works really well and leaves you clean

Good trick, but it has one obvious flaw at the start. People would know how much change in coins they originally had. Wouldn't it be pretty obvious if they noticed a mysterious extra 20 cent coin? Ie. if the person gave you four 20 cent coins, suddenly having five 20 cent coins would stick out like a sore thumb to the average observer.

u can switch your gimmicked for a real.There u go.Do a trick with the number of coins spectator has,Or you could take change from several spectators.Or you can say only 4,let me gve you 3 more so its more impeobable of hit by pure luck.Or you can do whatever you want,in magic,every effectcan be done by several methods.Mixing them generally makes trick harder to decypher.

Theguy Sayhi You don't ask someone to take out all their 20 cent coins, you ask them to take out all their coins, that way no attention is drawn to the 20 cent coins and they won't notice one extra coin.

I picked the 7 of diamonds and you getting it right was satisfying. I picked it cause I lost my 8 of diamonds cards a few days ago and found it, and I learned how to spin a card and spinning the 7 makes a circle thing that looks cool.

This is my mind set at the beginning of the video: My favorite card is the seven of hearts, but it’s in the thumbnail of the video below it saying “You’re thinking of the seven of hearts.” I’m going to put a twist on it and choose the seven of diamonds! How?!
