The true story of the DC Nine: The Catholic priests and nuns who vandalized the offices of Dow Chemical to protest the production of napalm in the Vietnam War. This group of eight Catholics and one draft-resister was part of an emerging movement on the Catholic Left which was popularly associated with priests Daniel and Phillip Berrigan. Driven by their antiwar sentiments, these priests, nuns and seminarians created one of Vietnam's most memorable protests when they threw their own blood over a Washington, DC office. Dow Chemical had been protested before for its production of napalm and Agent Orange - a devastating defoliant - but clergy breaking the law and going to court made headlines.
