Closest I’ve ever come to death (not really but genuinely scared that I would die) was after watching an episode of that shitty 2000’s show “1,000 Ways To Die” when they did a story about the good ole “Death Touch”, an ancient, deadly technique where if you touched someone’s temple in the right spot with the right amount of pressure, you basically cause a blood clot in their brain and like 2 days later they die. I’m a stupid kid, like 6 or so, so I’m like “haha that’s dumb no way” so I get up and look in the mirror and did it on myself and immediately afterwards went into a full on panic thinking “shit what if it’s real? What am I gonna tell my mom? I’m gonna die!” and that lasted about a day or so until I told my older brother, to which he told me reassuringly, “don’t be a retard, the Chinese made that shit up.” I lived.

i have had my close calls with death and stayed pretty calm. but he handled that whole situation without panicking his friends and family. with a calm head and went to bed and wrote a note like OK if i die i do if i don't good morning. there was nothing he could do but make everything worse by alerting everyone. when there's nothing you can do acceptance of your fate is key.

I have scuba dived and came within inches literally of 1 if not the most venomous sea snake in the world. I knew what it was but my dive buddy had no clue.i really never thought we would get bit. But how close to real death can you get? I have come very close to a spitting cobra and a Hemi Habu in the South Pacific in the wild. I've also been bitten by a water moccasin that was a very wet bite and took me over a year to recuperate

I can’t stop thinking that if someone was handling a chemical that dangerous without gloves and then they cross contaminated it to themselves or whatever else they would be fired for their own safety so freakin fast 😂😂 you were handling the creature that deposits that chemical into things for a living! Wild ass story dude.

why not have the antivenom on the boat like professionals?
@sadmageboi472
@sadmageboi472 Жыл бұрын
Because antivenom degrades with heat and time. Even if it's kept at the perfect temp, the samples will expire and very few people milk these snakes since there's very little actual risk of being bit by sea snakes since they don't come near land as much so there isn't much antivenom to begin with.
