Well Freddy actually took a chance by getting that corn drill bit but that's where I have difficulty when I start seeing it destroy anything even plant life I start to feel a little nauseous from the adrenaline and then if any property I see goes then I think I just saw someone die but I was not even 20 and then missed out on several good famous ones in my area so come full circle you're right he does

When this storm happened, I was in the 2% and we got a bad thunderstorm here, but no siren and no tornadoes luckily

I’m just now seeing this, and blow away by the quality of this video. I’m glad you got this in video, it’s a beautiful storm for sure! The bright bright green to the crown field, 3/4 of the way through, when you say something about the corn eating … anyway, man that would make a beautiful picture on the wall… just sayin!! Tornados are pretty much the definition of beautiful but dangerous. I’d love to see a tornado doing no harm to anything. I’ve never seen a tornado in my life before.

As soon as I heard you say Waterloo I knew you wouldn’t be staying long 😂 I live in Waterloo and i’ll tell ya we don’t get tornados very often. We get a lot of rotation so we get warned to seek shelter a lot but it rarely ever hits the ground. It’s more likely to touch down by counties going towards Cedar Rapids

Those two are the perfect example of country twisters. They cause little damage and are mostly eye candy as long as you keep a distance. However, the big brother of the two could have done much worse in a populated area. Cool vid!

If only someone had a badass mic that picked up the Infrasonic sound as well. I'd love to hear/feel the full range of a twister, and yes, my audio gear can effectively play down to 10hz.

I used DaVinci Resolve (a video editing software) and added all the layers together, lining up the maps and radar. Then I used keyframes to animate the tornado and my position.

The main camera mount was made by simply attaching a tripod head to a wood board and mounting that inside my car lol
